YOKKAOReviews of yokkao.com

When first coming into the art of Muay Thai, I was unsure of what brands were the best, which were quality, and what was reliable. After soon talking with fellow teammates and training partners it was clear Yokkao was at the top. Their site offers many different places to shop so wherever you are you can get Yokkao gear! They have a wide range of gear including everything you need; from gloves to even heavy bags they have it all. Their gloves are some of the highest quality leather I have ever trained with, and all their clothing from training gear to street wear feels a premium far more than it is listed for. Yokkao also offers deals regularly so it is best to subscribe to their email service for the latest news! I have never been more happy with Yokkao and is it hard justifying buying other brands when everything from Yokkao is of such high quality. So happy to be an ambassador and to let people know my personal experiences and get them involved with Muay Thai and Yokkao!

When I first started I didn’t know exactly what I needed or wanted to train with that’s when I came across the yokkao brand and let me tell you the customer service was Phenomenal every message I sent was answered in a timely manner and also with great knowledge of the products at this point I was hooked I had to try the products if they put that much time in their customer service and I was not disappointed the products are awesome real leather made of quality materials and last a lot longer then other company I have seen so if you ever wonder why yokkao is yokkao is because it is the best of the best

The recent purchase I made of my Yokkao Bleeding Boxing Gloves was a great investment! They are durable, high quality, and protect my hands. Great design that expresses my personality and love of Muay Thai.

I have had experiences with many shin guards, but after I tried these yokkao I was amazed, they gave me so much protection to the foot, they don't give problems to pull, the thing I liked most is the stiffness, yokkao makes me crazy

I am training Muay Thai since 20 years so I have a bit of experience regarding sparring equipment and recently purchased the Matrix Black Shin Guards Size M, the Matrix Black Boxing Gloves 16 oz and 2 Amateur Body Protectors Size L. Starting with the Shin Guards, I am 183 cm and 85 kg, my shinbone from the foot to the knee is 35 cm. I used the chat function to ask for my size and waited a bit. Mae suggested a Size M which I purchased and they fit perfectly. Normally I wear a Size L with everything so I am glad that I asked and if you are in doubt and not my size please contact the chat operator prior to ordering to get the right size for you to prevent shipping stuff back and forth and paying for that. The Matrix Shin Guards and Matrix Boxing Gloves are the finest production quality, perfect fit right from the start and best shock absorbtion that I ever tested. First thing I always do when testing sparring equipment is hitting the edge of the door frame because this mimics hitting an elbow really good. Doing this I noticed that the padding of the Gloves is a bit softer than other brands but in later sparring this made quite a difference for my training partner when getting hit so this is a very good thing. The Shin Guard paddings are rather hard and perfect for hard sparring, they absorb everything you block very nicely and the feet are covered with a thick layer of padding as well so there is no problem hitting an elbow or knee. They do not turn around at the leg and are very lightweight. So this is a full five stars for the gloves and shin guards. Regarding the Amateur Body Protectors I made the mistake ordering my normal Size L which was wrong, I would have needed an XL but I learned from that experience to ask the chat personnel before purchasing stuff:) These Protectors are the only equipment that I cannot use for my new students but this may be due to my wrong impression and lacking experience with body protection since I never used it before. I had the wrong idea that it will help new students loose the fear of getting hit especially when learning to use the knees, enabling them to make at least some contact to the opponents body helping them to learn avoiding and blocking knees. This was wrong because even a very light knee to the body is felt the same as if you wear no protection at all, there is virtually no dispersion of the force. So if you can only make very light contact there is no point in wearing this and sweating and I cannot imagine how this equipment can protect any person except maybe children. But as I told before this must be my mistake due to lacking experience with what this equipment is normally used for. I ordered some headguards recently too and will update this review when I have tested them in sparring. All in all I had a very nice customer experience, friendly and helpful customer service, top quality gloves and shin guards. I am a yokkao fan now:) UPDATE: The head guards are the best I ever had. Wow, what a great brand YOKKAO is!!!!

Best shop ever !! Premium gear good quality and long lasting
