I asked for a refund the day after purchasing because I logged in and immediately knew it wasn’t legit (one of the first resources posted was a YouTube video one can access for free outside of the course). Unfortunately, no one has gotten back to me about the refund, which is another sign that something isn’t quite right. Normally legitimate businesses have support staff who respond promptly and are willing to do their best to issue a refund if you are unsatisfied with your product or services received, which I most definitely am!
Not sure who from YogaMu took it upon themselves to write all these 5 star reviews, but luckily there are a few 1 star reviews to warn buyers!
Buyers: if you’re looking for online yoga teacher training and think to yourself, ‘Wow, YogaMu has such a great deal on this training that’s normally very expensive, I’ll buy it!’…. Don’t!!! It’s 100% a scam.

Dear Kiki, we are very sorry to hear about your experience with our course and customer service. Our service records indicate that your request had been answered within 3 minutes (20 Nov 06:57 PM ( responded in 3 minutes )).
There is one YouTube video interview with the late Desikachar, son of Krishnamacharia, also known as the father of modern yoga. We would not dare to try saying his words with our own mouth. This is how we honor our lineage! It is 2:36 seconds out of an entire course. Here the interview with one of the greatest yogis of our time:

GYTA Yoga Therapy Program
I've been a yogamu student for over a year now and I'm unsure of where to start the accolades. I came here in particular to review the new 800hr yoga therapy program though so I'll try to stay with that. As a former nurse I'm incredibly excited to see this program being offered, it's badly needed. We have been with our clinical staff for about a month now and it's top notch. The teachers are fantastic and the personal study experience with physicians is unbelievable. I wish that I'd had this during nursing school because it makes everything much easier to understand with a direct line of communication. They just released our future modules and we've got so many amazing things coming. I'm going to wrap up with this but I will say that I have enjoyed everything with yogamu. Even if the clinical aspect isn't your thing definitely check out the GYTA program. It's like hogwarts for yogis 😆 🤣 😂

Not what I was hoping for
I have sent numerous emails asking for information on what I have to submit to complete my course, but no one seems to be able to give me an answer. I emailed the teacher (who seems like a lovely person). Once I asked if I could be directed to someone to inquire about getting a refund, I was told I would be emailed a certification "as soon as possible".
Luckily I am not out a lot of money as I got a "black friday" sale. I am writing the review to warn others who might be on fence about this "school".
Update: I have been emailed a certificate. At no point was I asking for the certificate without doing the work, I only wanted to know what I had to submit, how to access the monthly class, etc. Other YTT I have taken required a test and a sequence be submitted as proof of competency so was trying to be prepared. I did not have to submit anything for this one.
Update#2: I agree that in person is a necessity, one of my original questions was how to access the live class. You are now contradicting yourself because I was sent a certificate despite all of the things you say I failed to do. You asked why I gave a 1 star, I responded to the email. I will change it to a 3 star in hopes you stop emailing me.

Dear Wendy, our system shows that all questions had been answered in a timely manner. We are sorry you have not participated in the offered live classes. We believe that a course like this can only be understood when actively practiced.

If you are a seeker
If you are a seeker, Yogamu is for you. Nikolai and the crew guide you gently along your path without any manipulation or hidden agendas. The amount of suffering that I had before this program was something I hope to never endure again. With all the knowledge and wisdom I gained here I feel like a new person.

Stay away
I completed my 300 hour program at YogaMu (they name they market their YTT's under) and submitted my materials, as well as months prior had asked questions about the completion requirements. No one got back to me for 6 months and multiple requests. I have contacted the emails that are provided and core ones in the program come back and mail undeliverable. The one's I have been able to go through and their "student question site", has not responded to anything, except saying, "I'll check on it." I was a huge proponent of this program for the past year and some odd months because I do believe the content is good. However, the videos are filmed poorly, it's hard to understand, there are no visuals in the presentations except a white board. They offer no modifications to poses whatsoever. This is not the program for someone who is focusing on any type of adaptive, modified, yoga for all type approach. It is also not trauma informed and I find that there are constant emails to students trying to loop you into affiliate and MLM programs which tells me that the goal here is questionable at best.
Nikolai, the main trainer of the nn asana programs, i.e. meditation, provides a lot of different "psychological education" however he is not a psychotherapist and tries to provide training in that area and misses the mark and can be offensive with lack of cultural competency and understanding demonstrated. As a trained therapist, it's really out of his scope and needs to be adjusted. I would say, stay away from this program. I honestly never thought this would be the outcome and was so excited to study from "traditional yogis'", (which I was told is a partner organization in India, Bhaktiyogshala who evidently their YTT's go through) however, the administration (YogaMu), business practices and ultimately the lack of communication or acknowledgement of completion is very very poor.
Updated:
There was a response underneath claiming I'm not a to student of Yogamu, which is a lie. I provided my Teachable account screenshot showing tons of courses I enrolled in from Yogamu with that brand name all ovér it. I can provide the documents that have the Yogamu logo, Nikolai and Tamryn's names on them and in the courses. It is YogaMu who, finally, responded to my request, which was another debacle and ended up in retaliation that very night which was completely unprofessional. They replied with a slew of messages after I posted this review which contained gaslighting and included retaliation from YogaMu, and even unprofessional response from Nikolai himself.
Added Nov 11, 2022
YogaMu responded by locking me out of my training on it's site on Teachable committing retaliation, gaslighting, stating it's not possible to do so on teachable (I run a teachable school and know differently), blaming me, trying to get me to change my review to the positive because Bhaktiyogshala did confirm my YTT after going directly to YA 3 different times. This process alone violates the basic concepts of yoga philosophy in the retaliation. After I notified YogaMu that I had photographs of their retaliation against my truthful review of my experience with both organizations, they immediately reestablished my coursework (that I was in the middle of completing that very night) and began gaslighting again. Days later Nikolai reached out in email personally and was unprofessional, abrasive and inappropriate, in which I did not respond. I unsubscribed to your system but continued to get harassing emails for your MLM even when blocking and putting them in spam.
Bhaktiyogshala did confirm my 300hour completion after the debacle described above.
As for YogaMu and Nikolai, customer service and the retaliation, I further decided, due to direct retaliation and gaslighting, that I am not taking further enrolled courses that I had not completed with them (5 or more) and taking it as a loss and pursued them with more reputable organizations. YA was made aware of this situation from the beginning and has all my documents in the grievance that was filed.
I will not comment further and you're continued sending me of emails even though I've unsubscribed is harassing.
Note, there original response was deleted this evening around 11:15pm CT and now they are claiming they are the wrong organization, which is a complete fabrication and another episode of gaslighting.

Dear Jessica, we are sorry you are feeling this way. As you write yourself: "Bhaktiyogshala did confirm my YTT after going directly to YA 3 different times". All our support tried to explain to you was that only YOUR school (Bhaktiyog) can confirm your training. We can't do it. No school can confirm another schools training. It would be great to post your review on your schools site and not ours.

Yogamu - such a positive experience
I just started with Yogamu. Im so happy. I am just taking the courses for me and may teach. They have helped with my anxiety and PTSD. The written material is intense . I had one issue and received a response in minutes. Im currently taking 100 kundalini 200 yt . I have also taken a live class already and enjoyed it. The programs were amazingly economical. I also like the no pressure approach to learning. I do not need somethibg more to stress me out .Some people are never happy.
Thank you Yogamu

If you want to level up! Shocking Improvement!
I enrolled in Yogamu to improve my mental and physical health. I knew I would get a certificate at the end but I didn't enroll to teach, make money or have a drastic life change. BUT! Talk about leveling up!! I've been with the school for six months now and there's no comparing who I thought I was and who I now know that I am.
So far, I've taken the 3rd eye mini course, which I recommend everyone begin with, the 200-kundalini teacher training, the 300-hour kundalini teacher training, and I'm in the 200-hour yoga teacher training as well. I've also been participating in the daily mediation and pranayama sessions.
To begin we started with 40 days of purification. This time opened me up to my personal strength, my deep connectedness to all life, and to a peace I had never before experienced all while giving me the energy and curiosity to say that I am willing to step out of my comfort zone and try something new that will heal me and those I love. I come from a background of many years in the church and also a life-long sensitivity to subtle energy that I did not understand. I was skeptical of chanting and frankly afraid of my own power and clear-thinking mind. Like so many others, I welcomed excess food, drink, social media and TV into my life to dull my pain and boredom with the way this world is.
The support of incredible teachers/coaches quickly helped guide me on a path of purity that took away my desires to age my body with drink and sloth and gave me a better, happier option. I've done some guided meditations and yoga before but the commitment to 10 or 40 days of purification and learning how to master your own vision with divine assistance is worth every moment. I began to find locked up inside of me a quietness and deeply settling peace that pulled the love and divinity of life to the surface of my being, not buried below all the societal conditioning.
As far as teaching, since I became a ecstatic lover of yoga, I've been inundated with requests to teach and share with my friends who have seen the changes in my life. I've got to tell you, it's a huge buzz to share with those you love the things that make you strong and healthy!
My physical body is now doing things I never knew it could! I feel so much younger, stronger and happier. Honestly, at 42 years old, after decades of ballet and modern dance, I am now stronger than I ever!! The teachers we interact with on an almost daily basis are dedicated to our development and always available to answer questions and offer extra help where we need it.
Since I began, I literally feel like I have about -no exaggeration- 4,000 times the amount of energy I had before I started. My energy stores are now unlimited, I've moved from tired and struggling to vibrantly positive with boundless compassion and stamina to share love with those around me. I've attracted new loving friends and now see myself in the most beautiful light.
This school is about sharing the traditional, long proven results of yoga with tremendous discipline, compassion and skill. Being a student at Yogamu has forever changed me into an ever-blossoming and happier version of myself I didn't even realize existed. It is worth every single penny and I highly recommend this school for anyone on any path. If you are ready to level up and feel total love for yourself and others, this is a safe path that will fill your heart with peace.

Love Yogamu❤
Have been with Yogamu for over a year and the experience has been outstanding. Nikolai's aim is for us all students to find self-realisation and works hard to lead us into it, having created numerous courses in the last year and including a large number of daily classes where we can practice meditation, asanas... and even practice with our teaching skills. The teachers and customer service is brilliant and, even though, sometimes overwhelmed by the quick growth of the school, the whole team has done all they could to step up and provide service.
