Yoga Girl is a Total Fraud
Yoga Girl is a total fraud. She makes her "living" by babbling to herself on a podcast once a week. Most of the yoga classes on this site are recycled and all the good ones are by teachers other than Rachel herself. Rachel's content has become incredibly dull and it is evident in the way that she is desperately seeking to rebrand herself. Rachel is a smooth talker and that's about it. Once you see through her facade, you realize there is no valuable substance beneath her smooth talking.

Hi Mae, YogaGirl.com encompasses a wide range of resources and tools led by not just Rachel, but eight other wonderful guides as well, and it seems like your review is more reflective of your opinion of Rachel’s podcast, or your personal dislike of Rachel as a person, than of our website as a whole. Also, according to our records, we don't actually have you listed as a current member of our site. With that said, we’re so glad that you approve of the different styles of classes on our site led by our other guides, as it’s important for everyone to find a teacher who’s style resonates and aligns with them. Recycling Old Courses & Nothing New or Affordable
I used to enjoy this site and its offerings, but now its been well over a year and zero new courses. Unless you can shell out $2K+ for a Home course, or want to do a short live which they recently restarted. The lives are craft projects though, not really what I am looking for in a movement course. If they ever get back to offering new courses that’s rad, but I don’t like their practice of reposting old classes and making them look new with a new date stamp. Seems a bit disingenuous. Sorry guys, just trying to give some constructive feedback. Wish you the best in the future!

Hi Audrey, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. After closing enrollment for the live variation of the Home course, we began offering a self-paced variation at a much reduced price of $495 which is available anytime, and we also have our Integrating Equity course at an even more affordable price, but we are also in the midst of making improvements to our subscription and offerings, which will be available by the end of the year. The best kinda yoga
Amazing content, pretty well laid out! I just wish there was an option for me to schedule my chosen classes through the week :-)

Hi Katie! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback. This is a great idea and we will certainly consider expanding our scheduling options in future developments. While we are only able to schedule live sessions to calendars at this time, you still do have the option to create your own custom playlists on My Mat. This enables you to create multiple playlists for different weeks, moods, energy levels, challenges you want for yourself, goals you want to meet, or even for certain days of the week (ie. a "Monday" playlist with classes that are do-able for you on Mondays). This way you could choose your playlist of choice to suit you whenever you log on. We hope this helps and thank you again for sharing your feedback with us. High quality classes but no new content
I really love the teachers on the website, and have been following Rachel for a few years now. There are some good high quality classes on the platform but there has not been anything new added for a long time. Also subscribed cuz weekly live classes were promised, but they stopped when Rachel moved to Sweden. Now just the same old classes get re-added. Would really like some new content or I unfortunately will unsubscribe. Also, would be great if there was an app!

I've been a member of YogaGirl.com since October 2019, and recently completed the HOME course this spring. I was drawn to the HOME course as it was created by Rachel Brathen, one of the most influential teachers in my life, and most things that Rachel creates turns into pure magic. My expectations of the course were not only met, but exceeded. The learning platform was easy to use and user friendly, the staff supporting us technically and emotionally were unmatched, and the outcomes after the 7 week course have impacted me in ways I wouldn't be able to reach without Rachel's guidance and high-quality content, including meditations, yoga sessions, rituals, journaling prompts and other practices to connect you back home to yourself. It is not only self-development, but a structure for you to really get to know yourself and ask your soul life's deeply meaningful questions. I plan to revisit the course multiple times/year as a tool when life gets tough, or a tool to keep me even-keeled and connect with the community. If you are considering/looking for a journey back to yourself, but don't know how to get there, sign up for this course. It truly is magical.

We hold our hands and heal together
The Home course was a deep experience, exactly how I expected, to be honest. Having a community to be me and be able to support other women is a beautiful thing. It's a sacred space where I could evolve, but also be part of other women's growth. We see each other, we listen to each other, and we hold hands as this exceptional space helps us heal through life.

This was one of most beautiful courses I've ever participated. The abundance of material, the guidance, the community, everything was so beautifully curated to support you on your life changing journey. Worth every penny!!

I loved this website when I first found…
I loved this website when I first found it 2 years ago. Rachel changed my life. But I am disappointed I am having to do the same classes over and over again. It is no longer enjoyable for me. I would have appreciated an email telling me my subscription was about to renew, now I am stuck paying for these classes I have done again and again, for another 3 months. Please add new classes, or this website is going to fail.

When subscriptions are not temporarily paused, our system is set up to send out reminder emails for our quarterly and yearly members when their memberships are about to renew. As you had paused your subscription for 6 months, your subscription resumed automatically after that period, which was shown in your account settings. However, we apologize if this was not made clear, if no reminder was sent after that un-pausing, and we appreciate your feedback as it will help us make improvements in the future. In regards to the classes offered with the subscription, we are also sorry to hear that they are no longer enjoyable for you.
