Also very disapointed. I've been a fan of Yoga Girl since the beginning and just subscribed to their website. Although the videos are great they "forgot" to mention that it's all old stuff. For ex? I just joined three months for the Spring Challenge in which Rachel is talking about .. 2024. If I had know the site wasn't updated anymore I wouldn't have invested my money

I subscribed to the website during the pandemic, but then went back to practicing on a studio. I got interested in the "new" content for this year, and I'm impressed by how there is barely any new classes of actual yoga in the "yoga" girl website. The challenge for spring was old content, branded as "curated". And the monthly live classes are all sitting mediations and "drinking tea" (?) It's safe to say I won't be resubscribing to this membership in the near future. And I leave this review for unwary yogis looking for actual fresh asanas and movement.

I used to enjoy this site and its offerings, but now its been well over a year and zero new courses. Unless you can shell out $2K+ for a Home course, or want to do a short live which they recently restarted. The lives are craft projects though, not really what I am looking for in a movement course. If they ever get back to offering new courses that’s rad, but I don’t like their practice of reposting old classes and making them look new with a new date stamp. Seems a bit disingenuous. Sorry guys, just trying to give some constructive feedback. Wish you the best in the future!

After closing enrollment for the live variation of the Home course, we began offering a self-paced variation at a much reduced price of $495 which is available anytime, and we also have our Integrating Equity course at an even more affordable price, but we are also in the midst of making improvements to our subscription and offerings, which will be available by the end of the year. There were some new helpful new tools taught, a lot of basic activities (sing, buy flowers, cook) and incredible facilitators (accessible, open, authentic, heart centered). I left it with the reminder to myself that though she's a social media fame, she's not a qualified expert for any of this. For me the course fell very short of my hopes for it. It felt inauthentic from Rachel, a money making venture, first and foremost. Beyond that, I've been disappointed to see that though it cost $1600 for the 'live' version I participated in, it's now being offered at $300, the non-live version. How did a live version demand that much money? I feel greatly disillusioned in the whole of yg.com atm.

Thank you for writing in and for taking the time to share your feedback. We are very sorry to hear that what we offered did not meet your expectations. While the amount of content and resources available in the live version of the HOME course are extensive and what we truly believe to hold a lot of value, we wanted to determine if there was a way to still make many of the elements of the HOME course available at a more accessible price while still maintaining the initial integrity of the course. To be clear, our latest Self-Guided variation of the HOME course does not include any of the live integration sessions with Rachel (which involves a lot of time, planning, and work with our team behind the scenes), or the recordings of those live sessions. It also does not include the weekly course-curated astrology content from expert, Jessica Lanyadoo, private community group access, or the dedicated sharing group support, facilitation, and full-time, on-call community support from the Yoga Girl team. Taking into consideration the live interaction time with Rachel and the team, the course-specific contributions of our course astrologer Jessica, and the sharing group and full-time community support from the team, we determined a level of pricing ($495 for the Self-Guided version) that felt fair based on the amount of content that would still be accessible without these live and more interactive and time-consuming components. With that said, we appreciate you taking the time in sharing your feedback with us as it will help us improve yours and others' overall experiences. We are very grateful for your presence in our community, and we hope that the many resources, integration sessions, community support, and lessons provided to you in the HOME course will continue to serve you well into the future. In the beginning of the pandemic there was lots of new content. Now not much. I understand the family is going through upheaval right now and I sympathize. What I do not like is there is no warning email about when it is time for your renewal. All other yoga and pilates sites I subscribe to offer this. I was going to take a little break while Rachel regrouped. Still a fan & was planning on a return. Now probably not. All the yoga and pilates sites have the same policy of auto-renewal as you but provide this fair and needed reminder. I find it not in keeping with what yogagirl brand is suppose to be about. Genuineness and full transparency is not what is happening here. And then no offer of refund if you forget your renewal date? Please review this policy and change it. Then maybe I will come back. Thanks.

I signed up with good intentions but haven’t used the app or the resources at all and then was surprised when I was charged for another year at approx $135 US. Trying to navigate to cancel my membership but it’s not easy or straightforward.

While our terms state that memberships auto-renew unless cancelled beforehand and cancelling is found in account settings, we apologize that it wasn't more intuitive and easy to follow through with. The platform was hard to find sessions for a beginner. I stopped using it pretty quick. I never received a shirt either 🤷🏼♀️

We have dozens of tutorials, beginner-friendly classes (with more on the way), and all-levels classes which are also beginner-friendly, and we understand the importance of making these accessible in an easy-to-use way. Disappointed in this community, feel the opposite of included. Loved the site at first and now I don't because I don't have the same "beliefs" as Rachel so she doesn't even want me in this community according to her instagram stories. Cried when I unsubscribed because I never in a million years thought I would, it does not feel like a safe space to me anymore.
