I have used yankee candles for years, but recentyly I do not order their candles because they no longer have any smell. Years ago the smell would fill my house. Unfournately, my children ask for them at christmas. I order them candles every year. This year they had a special. The special was buy 2 get 3 free. I ordered defuses and bought two but instead of getting 3 free they charged me for all 5. I wrote an email to them and still have not received a respnse. I called and the rude woman said return them when you get them and you might find a simular sale. Why would I want to do that? Not only are their products no longer good but now they rob you and do not stand by refunds. I am done with Yankee. My children. have to find another place for candles.

I have loved and used yankee candles for decades but I will not anymore. The candles smell bad and all the same. The scent reminds me of if you’ve ever visited an old fashioned history scene where fat was used for candle ingredients. It’s nasty

I ordered several candles from Yankee Candle (I have literally ordered $1000s of candles this year alone). These were three mid-sized candles I ordered for a birthday present. The order was damaged by FedEx but no one ever notified me that the shipment wouldn't be coming, just that it was delayed. After digging a bit, FedEx told me I had to contact YC for a replacement. Almost 3 weeks have passed at this point. I contacted YC just now and asked if they could expedite the replacement so I could get them to my friend asap. Nope. The rude agent (Monika) simply said that the warehouse is going as fast as they can and then, without allowing me a moment to respond, she ENDED THE CHAT!!! I suspect there are better candle companies out there that would be happy for my business. I'm researching them now - YC gets no more of my money. The delay I can handle, the agent being rude and just ending the chat abruptly I have no tolerance of. Monitor your agent chats YC, you're going to lose customers otherwise.

I received a Wood Wick candle as a present and lit it for the 1st time one evening. Within 2 hours the candle unbeknown to me ( as no lights were on in the kitchen and it was dark) the kitchen had filled up with smoke. It wasn't until the morning after I noticed soot on all the kitchen walls and in the openplan sun room. This has resulted in me having to have the decorators in to emulsion all the ceilings and walls in both rooms. The company parmed me off with a replacement gift.......and would not accept liability. Please beware as I would hate this to happen to someone else.

I love used to love yankee candles! I have been a customer since the 90s so I decided to order them online. The first time I did it I received one shattered candle. I thought okay it happens, The next time I ordered I waited and heard nothing from Yankee or fedex. I looked up my order and I found out my order was never going to be delivered because the entire shipment was damaged while on delivery!!! Never again why order something that will never make it because of the terrible packaging

been waiting for almost a month for my candles, 12 candles 4 separate shipping and now I was told to feel free to canceled my order for a full refund, since I had been waiting that long. I mean"seriously" thats your only offer". by the time I might received the rest of the order, for sure it will be over a month. first and last time doing business with Yankee Candle. Just Sad way of doing business.

Wowww I see sooo many badd reviews about the same thing....Yankee Candle you should be ashamed of yourself for all the broken packages because they were not packed right, Candles having no smell, your horrible customer service, your ridiculous prices, and your policy that they make up as they go just to get you off the phone...I've been a longtime customer and I have reached my boiling point wit you....So just letting everyone know that you only get points now in store and online but not when ordering wit a person at yankee Candle which makes absolutely no sense what so ever..I have always received my points no matter how I ordered them until this year....I feel cheated and very disappointed wit yankee candle... This company has went downhill and still wants you to pay big dollas for candles that do not hold up to that price tag...This is a big problem and I will never buy from Yankee Candle again...I TELL EVERYONE 2 GO SOMEWHERE ELSE...I GO TO BATH AND BODY WORKS...YANKEE CANDLE CHANGED THEIR 3 WICK CANDLE 2 BE MORE LIKE THE BATH AND BODY WORKS CANDLE....SOOO SAD THAT THEY ARE COPYING OTHER STORES TO TRY 2 GET SALES....YANKEE CANDLE YOU SHOULD CLOSE ALL OF YOUR STORES...YOU CANNOT TREAT PEOPLE LIKE THIS AND GET AWAY WIT IT... KARMA IS KNOCKING AT YOUR DOOR...

So I put in an order for three candles. After three business days, I inquired why my order had not yet been even processed at the warehouse. On the fourth day, I talked to Marta in customer service and she said that the Yankee candle company policy is eight days to process an order before creating a shipping label! So I just wanted everyone to know they’re horrible company policy! My order was processed on the fourth day to be picked up for shipping. Buyer beware!
