Yampu was very patient, responsive and professional during the planning process. Their execution of our trip, once we arrived in Peru, was FLAWLESS. Every guide, every vehicle, was timely meeting us. In Peru, we worked with four different Yampu guides and one driver. They were each wonderful. I don't have a single negative thing to say about any of them. Martin and Nilton, in particular, were an important part of our trip being a huge success because we spent 3 full days with them. Martin is so knowledgeable and has a super personality for guiding. Nilton was a safe and considerate driver. In Peru, Yampu was available to us 24 hour sa day, including a 5 a.m. passport situation that arose. The van/bus was immaculate. We had the best time -- thank you so much to Karolina and her Yampu team for a great trip.

We took a tour of Machu Picchu from a cruise ship. We wanted a more personalized and complete experience than the ship offered and were not disappointed. Those that took the ship's tour paid more, were rushed around, and did even come close to the experience Yampu gave us. The trip was completely customized for us and every detail - from boarding passes to hotel check in - was handled very professionally. Others on the ship also booked tours from outside companies but, in comparing notes, none was as comprehensive and rewarding as Yampu

Appreciate dedication and service of all tour guides, drivers and hotel staff. *The accommodations (Aurieum Palacein Bagan), (Anantara in Chaing Mai) and (Victoria in Siem Reap) were amazing properties and service. The staff at Intercontinental in Hanoi Vietnam was the best service as they catered to our culinary needs within few minutes. The Chatrium hotel in Yangon was average rooms & service. * The Auco luxury Boat services at Halong Bay surpassed our expectations. The food variety, crew services, recreational activities were all superb. * The local tour guide at Siem Reap was very generous to provide complimentary 90 minutes massage to all members our group and it was one of the best massage we had. *The elephant camp in Chiang Mai (Thailand) was not to our expectations, the Sanctuary camp 6 crew was not knowledgeable, did not do many other things mentioned in our recreation itinerary. The staff at the camp was continuously smoking around us. I slipped and got injured but none of them came to help or even ask how I was doing. Suggestions: a) Tour guides should be trained to communicate the day itinerary with clients clearly so everyone is on the same page and tourists know what to wear, what items should be carried along, how long it will take to reach etc. b)Have the tour guides do more research on restaurants for clients with restricted diets or vegetarian diets. In Yangon asked tour guide for Indian restaurant since quite a few of the group were vegetarians but only found out last day just before going to the airport there was a very nice Indian restaurant nearby, could have planned dinner if knew earlier. c) Tour guides should have knowledge of good shopping areas which cater to tourists ( like local handicraft places)

My son only had a week off from college during Spring break. I decided on Belize, a logical vacation destination that was not overly taxing on travel time and just one hour behind our time zone. I had very little time to coordinate the trip, so I searched online for a reputable tour company to help me with the planning. I was fortunate to connect with Karolina Guilcapi of Yampu Tours, who offered me expert advise on all the activities and hotels. Her selection of educational and physical activities were a very nice mix for the week, not too overly fast-paced but just right with ample time to wind down at the end of the day. Karolina was very sensitive to my budget need and planned accordingly. She cut costs by substituting lodging but still selected a very exotic place to stay for the last half of our vacation on San Pedro Island. (Now I appreciate more fully what Jimmy Buffet was singing about after sampling Island life.) Thanks to Karolina for her patience during the planning process and her followup after the trip. Her in-depth knowledge of that part of the world was very helpful in creating a memorable experience for us.

This was so much more than a vacation, yes we experienced the most beautiful places on the planet but we also learned so much of the culture and history of a country in turmoil even decades after Apartheid.

We just recently took an amazing 15-day adventure through Guatemala and Belize, which was very well constructed by Maggie. We toured historical towns and landmarks, hiked up volcanoes and through caves, climbed Mayan pyramids, and even swam with sharks and sea turtles. Every step of this amazing adventure was very well coordinated and organized by both the Yampu staff and the local tour agencies. Each day, a very knowledgeable guide came at 9am and carried us to something amazing and exiting to see or do! The hotel selections throughout this journey were also very creatively coordinated to provide a different and unique ambiance to each destination. Yampu Travel completely went beyond our expectations and has definitely obtained two lifelong return customers!!! Great job! Absolutely a 5 star service!

Machu Picchu/Sacred Valley private guides very good. Cusco guide absolutely outstanding. Great assistance with negotiating airports. Santiago/Valparaiso guide excellent as was guide in Buenos Aires.

I cannot even express on how amazing my trip to Belize was. From the moment I stepped off the plane, it was nothing but ease. Shen-Li, my tour guide for the main land, was outstanding. The hotels that booked for us were as if they were out of a dream! Every second of the trip, I could not believe my eyes. I do not even know how many times my husband and I said to one another, "we will definitely be using Yampu again". I absolutely recommend our Tour Coordinator, Karolina Guilcapi.
