I travel every year and this was the best trip ever. My only problem is that it was just to short! Jacob is a wonderful leader and is incredibly knowledgeable. I will definitely encourage others to join in.

We were barely off the plane and Maged was there to greet us. We followed him through Immigration/Customs, collecting our luggage, and out the door to our private shuttle. Maged checked us into the hotel, made sure our wake up calls were taken care of, and all our days and evenings were planned. Maged also escorted us to the airport and checked us in for our flight. Our flight was at 11:10pm so he had a very long day. Essam was our Egyptologist. He had a wealth of history and current events to share with us. I learned a lot from him. Everyone knows Essam! Osama was our driver. He got us where we needed to be safely. I thought Bali and Rome had crazy drivers. Cairo and Giza has them beat. We would not have been able to get around Egypt without an escort. I felt safe with Maged, Essam, and Osama.

All of our shore excursions were very good.

Thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Petra. Our guide, Osama, was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. However, I felt like the visit to Jarash was a waste of time. The tour could have been accomplished in two days.

Our trip was fantastic and one of our best travel experiences. The guides in each of the countries, Jordan, Israel, and Greece, were knowledgeable, interesting, and gave life and meaning to the places we visited. The accommodations throughout were very nice and all of the travel was handled efficiently. We particularly liked that we were offered some unusual and very different activities, in particular the time we spent at Wadi Rum in Jordan. The drive through the desert, a sunset camel trip, and a night in a Bedouin camp were highlights of our vacation. In short, we had an outstanding time and would certainly return to Ya'lla for any further travel in that region, as well as recommend the agency and our guides without reservation.
