I have a Trappist Moon phase. After 2 years, the battery died. No problem. I replaced it. But nothing happened. I put in another battery. Nothing. Batteries are fine, watch is dead. I have Seikos and Casios from 1998 that are running fine. Xeric? 2 years for $300+? A nice novelty watch, but not very functional. IMO, Not worth the money.

Quality a bit low for the price, the hour markers in the wandering movement have play in them, which throws off the minute marker up to +/-2min at any given time. Slight shake of the wrist can change the marker by +/-2 min. Also shipping was delayed due to having to manually capture payment on xerics end, had to email and ask about shipping to get it sorted out and get the ball rolling. Expected more for $1000 USD...

The watch is amazing. The order experience … not so much. I preordered a watch in August with an expected shipment for November. November rolled around and I was excited. Nothing came. I understand logistic issues, delays, etc. Especially around Black Friday, but nothing came. Not a watch. Not even an email to let me know how things were going. Not even some sort of explanation/expected delivery update. Early December rolled around and I emailed customer service for an updated ETA. The answer was that it should come that week or the next and then parcels would be shipped. Waited two weeks. Still nothing. Emailed again to be told the same thing. Merchandise would arrive soon, and then be shipped. Nothing addressing the past email with the same response. When I pointed it out and asked to possibly change my order the answer came positive but extremely dry. Overall no real apology, empathy, or even understanding. The tone and experience made me feel a bit like I was an annoyance to have an update for an order with several weeks delay on the original ETA. In the end I was so busy I didn’t change my order and was lucky enough that my watch arrived on Christmas Eve. I work in CX and understand that lots of things are out of Customer Service’s hands but this is a situation that, if addressed properly, can make a customer loyal for life. Sadly … they failed spectacularly.

Hello Julius- We are sorry to hear about your experience with our customer service team. They do have several hundred emails incoming daily during the holidays. So sometimes they have to work through those pretty quickly to get back to customers. It's nothing personal. I do wish that we could have sent out individual emails regarding orders, but unfortunately there were several thousand orders. In the past we have sent out automated email notifications, but customers do not seem to like those either. Our team does try their best and we appreciate your review.

Bought the Apollo 15 watch a few years back and have only really had a bad experience with it. To start with after 1 year I had to send it back due to it not keeping time at all well. Now the strap has completely broken after only 1 year of total continuous use. For the price I paid (around $500 you really don't get a product which is worth this price point) I would spend your money elsewhere.

Hello James! We are sorry to hear about your strap! Most leather straps can last between 6 months up to several years, depending on the use and wear. If you do have any repair needs, you are still able to send the item to our repair center after the 1 year warranty is up. They would be happy to provide you with any quotes.

The watch face is absolutely gorgeous, but the glass is terribly cheap. I’ve had the watch for less than two weeks and the glass is already scratched to the point of being cloudy. I take care to remove it whenever I do anything that could damage it, but somehow it has still gotten scratched just from casual wear.
