I have several Wuben lights and all are fantastic quality with excellent capabilities. I walk my dogs in the evening and I am able to clip the G5 directly to my hat for hands-free lighting!

Hey Guys, It’s no secret that I’m a HUGE WubenFan, I mean after all I only own about 30 Wubens lol, but this time I want to review Wubens new “X2 Pro” EDC Light. Wubens new “X2Pro” in keeping with Wubens tradition is a VERY rugged and sturdy light with the looks and feel of the tried & true “X4”. In fact the X2Pro is kind of a hybrid between the X4 and the Mini “G5”. It’s the size and shape of the X4, has the Magnetic “Butt Cap, as well as the Battery access on the Butt end. It has almost the same weight and feel of the X4 as well, with the Flashlight on the opposite end of the Buttcap. Sporting an impressive 1500 lumens on the flashlight, it’s a very Powerful handheld light! And both the Flashlight and the swivel sidelight are completely adjustable using the adj Wheel located right next to the on/off switch, (which we’ll get to below) For the sidelight, WUBEN has placed the little “G5 Swivel light/400LM” which can swivel up and down at approximately 15-20° either way, and being adjustable brightness, makes it Perfect for nighttime operations like changing a flat, or jumping your cars battery off, etc etc. the Sidelight is also “Red/White” for us Hunters/Fishermen etc that need to be “Covert” at night! I LOVE the interchangeable Batteries as well, the X2Pro comes with two “14500/920mah”batts…. they say you don’t get as bright a light with replaceable batteries as you do with internal batts, but you couldn’t prove it by me. The MAIN thing I love about replaceable batts is the fact that you CAN replace them LOL. When the batteries go bad, just replace em. With an internal batts, when they go bad, guess what? Ya gotta toss the WHOLE UNIT! So I give a HUGE thumbs up to replaceable’s! Ok, now for the NEGATIVE portion of our show….lol It’s the ON/OFF/LOCK Switch! ….WUBEN!! What were you THINKING? The on/off/lock switch is this TINY, little, skinny, hard to locate slider switch on the skinny side of the unit right next to the adjustment wheel,and it’s just THAT…..HARD TO FIND in the heat of the moment! My big-a$$ thumb just fumbles over that lil sucker, and when it finally DOES locate it I always have a hard time positioning it where I want it! I either over punch it into the flashlight position or under slide it into the sidelight position and it’s just EXTREMELY hard to navigate and even FIND!…HUGE Pain in the Butt! I end up spinning the light around in circles a few times before finally finding it! NAH! Go back to the old X4 style slider switch will ya PLEASE guys! LOL But that’s about the ONLY negative thing I can say about the X2Pro, except maybe give the Sidelight a little more ARC to the swivel! Especially on the DOWN angle! Maybe 45°? LOL But that’s IT! Good Job guys! I’m sittin here anxiously awaiting the mailman to drop off my two new “X5’s”… Heh heh heh….so I’ll be BACK with my review of the new X5’s soon! Stay tuned! Bye Now! Habe eine X4 bestellt und nach ca. 2 Wochen erhalten. Die Qualität ist super, auch vom Funktionsumfang alles wie beworben. Zum Service kann ich nichts sagen, den habe ich bisher noch nicht benötigt, Pre-Sale Anfragen wurden aber alle recht zügig beantwortet. Die neue X5 werde ich vermutlich auch demnächst bestellen.

Bought the Wuben X1 Pro and it has exceeded expectations. Great build quality, excellent UI and very powerful when you need it. Also like the direct to moonlight mode when holding the button down from off regardless of previous light setting. Very good for not waking up the family at night. Highly recommend.

Update 22 aug 2026: I’m updating my review as I’ve changed from “disappointed” to “impressed.” I was contacted by Wuben customer service, who handled the issue directly. They sent me a new product at their own expense within a few days, plus a gift. The new G5 has solid product quality. The gadget is awesome. The care provided by customer service was impressive. Although it took a little time to receive a response, the service received was outstanding. What a great service. Previous review: Disappointing product quality and customer service. I ordered a Wuben G5 on May 3 as a gift from wuben.de. The item was advertised as being delivered within 3–5 business days, but after 7 business days I still had not received it, so I had to buy another flashlight from another brand. When the G5 finally arrived, the rotating lamp head was visibly misaligned/tilted. Although the flashlight works, this is not acceptable to me, especially for an EDC gadget where build quality and precision are part of the value of the product. I contacted Wuben customer service and provided pictures. Their reply was that “a very small number of G5 lamp heads may have slight tilting,” but that this was “within the normal production range” and “not a product quality issue.” They first offered me a 20% discount on a future order, which I refused. I asked for a replacement, but they confirmed that I would have to return the product to China at my own expense. I am very disappointed that Wuben considers this an acceptable margin of error. Unfortunately, I do not. Based on this experience, I will not buy another Wuben product. I do not recommend Wuben.

My order came very quickly after the order was placed. The product works incredibly well. Has a good weight witch I like. I'm a maintenance technician I use my flashlight a lot the battery lasts great I use it on a 12 hr shift without any charge. I've ordered other products I'm very happy with those as well. I'll definitely purchase other products.

jeg må indrømme der er 1 minus og det tar simpelthen alt for længe før man modtager varen 21 dage fra bestilling.. men men men, jeg er totalt overrasket og den lækre kvalitet og så lyser den lygte X4 som dagslys på 1500 lumen en vild lygte trods sin lille størelse. G5 kan også anbefales lille og handy mindre end en æske tændstikker og lyser så klart på 400 lumen. alt i alt ventetiden værd

Very good service. After DHL lost my package... Wuben investigated the case and sent me a spare one with an additional gift inside. Very kind communication. The process was kind of long, but this is totally on DHL / Deutsche Post. Thanks Wuben
