WptangerineReviews of wptangerine.com

My experience with WP-Tangerine has been nothing short of exemplary. I've had a lot of bad experiences with WordPress developers and support services in the past. I'm so glad I made the choice to go with WP-Tangerine. They are a really professional team who completes WordPress tasks quickly and efficiently. They've made my website run my faster, they add necessary plugins in a timely fashion, and they're overall really good people. I strongly recommend WP-Tangerine!

Basically it's a scam, working philipines based people and deliver a fraction of what they promise, in a much longer time.

I wish I had read a review like this before joining. They do the bare minimum each day. A lot of time this email is something like "We will give an update over the weekend or on Monday." Then on Monday you will get "We would like to inform you that we are still currently fixing the issue" I would estimate you might get about 2 full hours time a week which is not cost effective. This includes their emails to you and then they will always make sure to reply within 24 hours - but right at the end of the 24 hours - and very rarely right away. Considering I worked out my year contract would be about $10 / hour thinking I could get 1 hour of work a day done, it's been very disappointing. Also it has made my progress super slow because I've paid for this so now I'm reluctant to pay someone else but someone else might do 20 hours of work in a week while these guys do 2-3 max. You also constantly get passed from person to person and they will sometimes misunderstand what the current project is. This company operates out of Philippines. Halfway through the contract and I wish I had just spent this much on a single dev I could deal with every day. UGH

Avoid using WP Tangerine. I was with them for over three years. I wanted to off load the Word Press work. They seemed like a good option. I recently ended my service contract. From when I started till when I ended, my WordPress site is worse-off because of WP Tangerine. Things I was told were dome and complete, were not. I started getting Google penalties because of their negligence and incompetence. Their job was to keep the site running well and to perform well. They are supposed to be the ones to know how to do this. They do not. WP Tangerine completely messed up the mobile experience of my site. I could not even get a straight answer about what had been done vs not done. It felt like they were trying to do some CYA. There were plenty of smaller request like ‘add this page’ or ‘add the blog post’ where I provide the content and they do the legwork. These were frequently done incorrectly. Wrong page edited. Adding a page without content. Just an endless series of missteps. If you goal is to find a company to make your life easier by having someone take care of your WP site – do not use WP Tangerine. They are the opposite. They will mess things up, cause Google penalties and make you spend more time to have those bad results.

Awful! We were stuck without use of our website for 3 months because there was a lapse in the membership for the theme. They kept giving us this run around that they were duplicating the site, doing all this work and finally when we brought in an expert letting them know this didnt make sense and threatened to cancel they magically fixed the issue the next day. Overall experience over the past year has been horrrrible. 4 days to respond to an email. Weeks for minor fixes. I finally just got the go ahead to hire someone else at this point. You do not get what you pay for with the $300 a month. You are better off hiring someone at 20 an hour to build a landing page here or there, or make changes to your site.

Bad, bad company.
