SCAM beware of this company!!!!!! I paid $1,000 back in April for them to help me build a dating website/app, and they have yet to help me. They built a website for me that is very low quality; they build me an Android app that doesn't work, and after 6 months have yet to deliver to me my IOS APP . They don't have a customer service phone number; they are very shady ..... don't respond to emails... keep telling me their IOS software is being updated and will be ready in a few weeks (I have heard this for the past 6 months)

Update 11-07-2019: I first rated 2 stars, but things got worse... here is the 2 star review first... scroll down for the update (and the uncovering of false 5 star reviews). My name is Bas, I am from Holland and have been a software developer for 18 years, so I might have a little bit higher expectations from a software company. I want to share my experiences with WPDating. In short: - Mediocre platform with buggy core functionality (navigation, messaging, payments and chat) - Misleading product descriptions (App source code not PhoneGap) - Friendly but slow and incompetent support staff (poor English and technical understanding) - Word Press is not suitable for a (successful) dating platform Our experience with dating platforms on Word Press have led us to this conclusion. It is not really suited. It’s nice to have a go at a dating platform for pennies on the dollar, but you need core functionality like messaging and payments to be flawless and that proved to be an impossible task. As for WPDating. I think they do try to create an okay platform, but they are stuck on legacy. The installation guides are not up-to-date and you get various different instructions sent by mail. Out of the box a lot of core functionality was not working. Messages got lost, emoticons were not working, integrated chat was not working (payed external party extremely expensive) and the payment system is (still) very buggy. We tried to get things fixed, but it took us over 4 months to get an below average experience. This was mostly due to communication issues. WPDating always waits until the very last moment of their response window to respond to a request. They are always polite. But often do not understand what you want. Even if you send a document with screenshots and extended explanation… they manage to turn things around and fix maybe 1 small issue that is not relevant. Only when escalating to their owners they suddenly woke up and started working. In my experience these issues could be fixed by 1 or 2 developers within 1 week… but due to the slow communication it was 4 months. The only reason we kept on going was because we had a successful dating site with 1.800 members and counting… Then the App… it is advertised as built with PhoneGap, a development platform for multiple devices (Android, iOS) which I have experience with. But when bought I got a link to source code of a Native Android app… a completely different language. I tried to get more info but they did not seem to understand my question a was just sent different versions of tutorials how to install the environment and eventually also source code of a native iOS app. Meanwhile the payment system was still flawed and people were not able to buy a membership. And we could not give them one manually through the backend because they were corrupted. So, we parked the App development and tried to focus until this was resolved… which took weeks on weeks before they came with an email stating EXACTLY what I said in my first email… that there was something wrong with the expiration date. Really?! SIGH!!! After this (5-6 months) the website was working okay, but we decided to look for a partner in Holland to build a new one, because the delays on support questions was really killing for motivation and progress. And customers we’re really dissatisfied for things not working… and we could not do anything about it. Frustrating. In the light of the new website I decided to ask for a little understanding from WPDating for the whole process and ask our money back for the App source code, which was not the source code advertised and we did not use anyway. Again, after completely misunderstanding my request and wanting to fix our messaging problem (which was already fixed) and sending us new source code (which we cannot use and will not because of the new website) they pointed us at the terms which stated that you have to decide within 10 days for a refund…. Which is total BS, because any mail conversation with these guys will cost you 2 weeks to get your question across. At this point I decided my patience was done with these guys, so I thanked them for trying but that I was going to warn the public to think twice about doing any business with them, because this experience has been mediocre to say the least. Ok if you want to burn some money and want to try out a dating platform and see if people will register before investing 30k-100k for the real deal. But if you want a good working system to begin with... stay away... --- Update 11-07-2019 --- Okay, so suddenly after 10 days, the day after I posted this review, WPDating responded to my refund request. And a couple of 5 star reviews appears right after it also! First the 5 star review from Kristin Graham from Thailand (?!)... Try looking up that name and see if you can find her... I did a google image search on her profile picture and found a striking match for a woman called Kristin E. Haule from Los Angeles. As far as I can tell she's not married or has any connection to Thailand. Whoops! Ok, the next 5 star review from... Paul Jackson from Germany, who is also known as Paul Shapiro, an Animal Advocate from the USA with his own radio show. Interesting... Finally Rezo Boucaud also from Germany (who also decides to put his 5 star review on other review sites on the same day) also has an alter ego, a Russian film maker that goes by the name of Rezo Gigineishvili. Cool! If you right click on the profile image you can do a Search Google for Image in Chrome or with another browser you can get the image address (or url) and you enter that url in google image search (click on the camera icon in the search box of google) you will find out more about the people behind these 5 star reviews. Very informative. As for their response... they said sorry and said that I was wrong about the source got which really was Phone Gap, and we're willing to do a refund. They said Cordava framework is supposedly a Phone Gap based technology. So I went back and checked and must admit it is Cordava, but Adobe PhoneGap is based on Cordava and not the other way around. The problem is you cannot edit Coradava projects in Adobe PhoneGap (which I had installed)... you need Android Studio for that, so hence my confusion (and my apologies for not looking any further). As for the refund, I asked for the full amount of the app source code ($399) since I have had no use for it. I which they replied, again pointing at their terms, that they cannot do that. But they were willing to refund $100 if I did as requested: "but for that you will need to write some good reviews for us removing the old one that you have posted in different sites" - Nick M, Technical Support, WPDating If you managed read through to here I think you can guess where they can put that $100... I'm bringing this review down to 1 star. These guys are a total fraud and I cannot imagine anyone building a successful dating site with this broken mess. Stay away!!

I was trying to start a dating website and I have little to no knowledge of coding so for me it was all jiberish. I shopped around but I did not do enough digging because I purchased the platinum package and once I received it they stated it would be installed and it was within 24 hours but beyond that I did not get any help what so ever. I screwed up and did not know and I guess I unconfigured the whole website and when I asked to have them install it they told me it would be $79.00. Once you pay for the package everything else you have to pay separate for. I mean every single thing you have to pay extra for. All they did was kept referring me to the video tutorials and manuals to fix what I need to get fixed and that is because it comes with support with the package. That was the worse $300.00 I spent. You need a lot of knowledge for Word press. I would not recommend. Waste of money.

This company is untrustworthy...and their response here shows it. You should avoid using any products from this company. They will lie to you to get your money and then they will refuse their agreed upon refund. Here's what happened: I asked many questions prior to purchasing. One of the questions was: can I use the stripe plugin instead of paypal. The answer was, "Yes, you can use Stripe plugin. It is available for purchase." What they did not tell me was: Stripe does NOT have the same features as paypal...which I did not discover until after setting up my website. With Stripe, you cannot use: discount codes, free trials, or recurring payments in any meaningful way. The plugin also produced a substandard UI which, of course, they offered to fix for an extra fee. Near the end of my two week initial period, I asked for a refund since I could not use Stripe and they said, "The features you have asked for are in development. Can you please wait for them to be done in the next couple of days?" I asked, "Can I get the refund period extended?" They said, "Of course." Two weeks later: no updates. So I asked for a refund. "Kind sir, please wait a few days. Your requested upgrades are almost done." Every day for a week, I asked for a refund. Every day for a week: same response. They then claimed the upgrade was done. During this time, I also discovered that this plugin is not FOSTA friendly nor is it GDPR compliant....so I continued to ask for a refund. I left a review on trustpilot...to which they responded today, "We used your money to do your requested upgrades and now you want a refund for no reason. We will not provide you a refund until you remove the review from Trustpilot." So now...I am on a mission to let EVERYONE know what kind of business this company is...Thank God I'm in the online web business, right? It's not like I do things like a keep a running journal of web entries... -------------------------------------- UPDATE on May 9, 2018: They offered me a refund, if I would agree to take down my reviews. I told them I did not trust that and that I wanted the refund first. I received the refund. My reviews stand...because they are honest and truthful...and our agreement initially was that they would extend the refund period for me...and I had been requesting a refund for almost a month straight when I finally received it. Now, I have been threatened with a lawsuit by their "Attorney" in Arizona: Kelly/Warner PLLC by a man claiming to be one of the owners of WPDating.com. I'm not sure he realizes how many different ways he can be countersued...but there it is...I would not do business with this company or recommend it to anyone ever again. ————— Update: May 24, 2018. I will be posting a new website this weekend with all of the documents and emails with WPDATING showing the appalling response contained below to be completely untrue. The APPALLING response written below is an example of a completely disgusting company who will go to no lengths to scam their customers out of money to provide a product that can be completely reproduced using buddypress...for free. Further, it shows the character of the company in the absolutely malicious way in which they have responded to a valid and legitimate review of their “service.” Do you really want to do business with a company that will stalk you on Facebook and expose details of your personal life to The public simply because you posted a bad, yet honest review?

Wpdating Simplesmente Não Funcionou !! Comprei Wpdating Plugin e Instala e Desinstala e continua sempre faltando alguma funcionalidade, Depois de semanas tentando resolver acabei desistindo, pra não sofrer mais stress pedi a devolução do pagamento pois acreditei na política de reembolso, não recebi a devolução do dinheiro, obtive como resposta que o tema está em perfeito funcionamento e mandam configurar plug-ins e plug-ins e não presta, hoje não tenho nem o plugin wpdating nem o meu dinheiro.

These people are an absolute joke, I accidentally purchased the the complete plan instead of the platinum package, so they made me pay $49 for the lavish theme and then pay $79 for installation that was done very poorly, icons missing, text appearing under the slider causing it to squash the photos. I emailed them 4 times before i finally got this fixed, Don't even bother asking how to do anything like edit pages other than the front page, because they just ignore you. Their knowledge base is so out of date that pretty much whatever you type into the search box, you get the same answers and all the answers are over 2 years old. You have to be a member to be able to see this, but it looks like they have turned the knowledge base off to people leaving comments there because there is a LOT of bad comments on there ignorant attitude towards their customers. There documentation is scant to say the least and their video tutorials? well just forget about it. out of date and really don't tell you anything, that is if you can find them. In a nutshell, There is no customer support unless you hound them and the problem is to do with there programming (and there's plenty of programming problems). If you need help in how to configure their plugin....... Forget it, they just ignore you. There are a lot better companies to deal with i can assure you.Save your money and your heartache and buy somewhere else. An update, since posting this review, I have received some customer support from wp-dating,(pretty much on the same day as posting), They did ask that i take this review down, which I am not prepared to do until I'm sure these people will continue with their support.

"wpdating.com"- BAD EXPERIENCE... They have terrible support. I bought the multisite version with russification for my client. The solution is slow (specially their chat and members conversation) and not working in Russian at all. The support team just ruined my site and translated it back to English. Lost my client, lost my money. They have no money return policy, whatever bad experience you have. They wrote it on their site. Please avoid my mistakes and save your money before it is too late!!! Share if you care for your friends not loosing their money!
