I ordered the desk on 8/31/23 and have yet to receive it. Lead time is 4-5 weeks. I had known that I would not have ordered from this company. I have a student who really needs this desk NOW. According the reply from the company, "These desks are made to order and have an advertised 4-5 week lead-time as stated. Currently it has just been less than 2 weeks since the order was placed so there will be a few more weeks to await. If you would like to make changes to your order or discuss finding a faster shipping desk, contact (missing email address) today. Thank you for your order!" I get that the desks are handmade, but I don't see an "advertised" wait time. It wasn't listed until I bought the product. The product details are listed verbatim below. A wait time is NOT listed.
