You have to be careful about carpet you have selected in store and one delivered to home may look different.

I was scheduled for a floor installation by Worldwide on Tuesday morning 8 am-12 pm and a carpet install on Wed afternoon 1-5 pm (the times they gave when they called the previous night). When they did not show up till 11 am on Tuesday, I called the store, where the lady told me the installers were running late and would arrive between 1-3 pm. I waited. Around 2.30, I called to hear 'maybe they will arrive at 5 pm. You can reschedule if you want'. Hell no! I had stayed home from work and was getting the floor done by hook or by crook. Not once did the installer or the store call to tell me what was going on. I kept calling. And hearing bad news. They finally arrived at 5 pm, neither of them had a Worldwide shirt/ID, they barely spoke English, cursed while moving my furniture. They stripped the floor, then spent 20 minutes waiting for another truck to show up with the laminate before they could install. They were done at 7 pm (by then I had left the house for prior commitments). They did not complete the work, did not put the molding, did not clean the floor. I was not happy. I had complained to the install department in the evening; I gave a piece of my mind to the manager who called later that night. I waited with trepidation for Wednesday's experience, to see if it would be a repeat of Tuesday. By contrast, the carpet installers were more professional, communicated well, completed the work, came on time, even called me half an hour before arriving! They saved the store, and my opinion of them!!

Indrani, Thank you for your feedback. I apologize for the delay on the initial day of installation. Meeting within our estimated appointment time is of critical importance to us. We have gone so far as developed an install tracking software, that allows our customers to track the installers location during the day, and provide a more real time estimate of when they will arrive. You can also enter your cell phone # to request a text message when he is on the way. This is available on our web site at: worldwidewholesale.com In any event, I hope you will consider us again in the future, as we truly value you as our customer. Thanks again for the feedback, Darren Braunstein Vice President Worldwide Wholesale Floor Coverings 732-906-1400 x117 [email protected]

1. Salesperson could at least contacted the customer after completion of the job. 2. Your lead installer and helper personnel shouldn’t just walk into a room and start installing without giving and consideration how the room will look, after laminate strips are laid, especially at the most visible part of the rooms. To me that workmanship and pride your installer needs have with the final appearance of job and not to just get in there complete a job and then leave. 3. My biggest compliant would be in the living room. If my wife wasn’t willing to accept how your lead installer and helper laid out one row of laminate strips, I would have had them come back, lift half of the living room and relay the laminate strips all because of how one row of laminate strips was started and layed. That would have mostly likely cost your store the extra expense to procure one extra box of laminate flooring. Your lead installer and helper needs to pay more attention when laying the laminate flooring from a rear wall to the front of the room where everything is more visible. If you look at the attached two picture of the same area, all your installer had to do was start one rear row a laminate strip a few inches longer and all of the front laminate strips would have been complete strips, instead of one being ½” laminate strip at the end, and is astatically less appealing, although not very visible. 4. The same similar situation is in the dining room, all the lead installer and helper personnel needed to do is pay more attention which side of a room to start from. In my dining room, for example one side has the main traffic flow. However, by starting on the less visible room side, your lead installer and helper left with many more shorter laminate ends, on an area that is more visible and now is astatically less appealing in the room.
