I booked a flight and hotel with Rovia through World Ventures. We are scheduled to travel to Miami next week, in the midst of Hurricane Irma, and they are refusing to give us any sort of credit for airline tickets or hotel, even though the hotel is offering free refunds for anyone staying there next week.
They said everything is nonrefundable, even though we pay a membership fee every month to receive these so-called perks of traveling in luxury. Quite possible the worst customer service and worst company overall I have ever worked with.

Cancellation
I booked a flight through rovia, two weeks after i booked the flight, My mom had a medical emergency. I tried to cancel it as early as possible tto avoid cancellation fee. But they still charge for cancellation. I've booked flights on other travel agencies and it's very much for them to accommodate cancellation. I tried calling again this month, coz I need to accompany my mom for her medical treatment. The customer service said they're still a cancellation fee, I told them that other agencies for where I have other reservations waived the fee. The customer service said the only waive the airline will waive the fee if a death certificate is provided. Wow. Just wow. Well I'm not looking forward to giving a death certificate just to waive a fee. I went ahead and cancelled it but bottom line, I will no longer use rovia anymore. Sure it gives you good deals, but it's consideration is also as low as you paid for. Being a member is useless.

Very Upset
We had charges show up on our credit card from this company. When we called and talk with them and told them what happened, they laughed at us. Horrible customer service and we have never ever heard of them! We would never use them after the experience we had with them!

AWARE AND DO A FAVOUR FOR YOURSELF AND AVOID THIS COMPANY
I have to say the most useless customer care they have, which is clearly essential in a company life.
You can call Uk. or Us. that does not matter, they are rude, and cannot help you in any possible way.
Their booking site is a joke, way overpriced, and even them have no idea about how long is their cancellation policy!! When I signed up I`ve been told 60days, when I wanted to cancel they said its a month, so I asked if it is a month is it 30 or 31, or God forbid 29 ? The cc guy said I assume its 30… no problem here, some ambiguity, can live with that.
So I left a complain, asked for a refund, and for a further appeal!!
Took them about 3 months, they did not call, or email, no information what so ever for about a couple of weeks!!
When I decided to get in touch with them ! I called every week, when finally managed to talk to a decent person who was able to deal with my case, and willing to take my complain further!
I do not have to say that NOTHING has been done with my case so far, although I am at the point where I only wanted my signup fee back and forget about this awful company !!
SO AWARE AND DO A FAVOUR FOR YOURSELF AND AVOID THIS COMPANY !!

Almost two months for REFUND
I just had a new baby boy. Prior to his arrival I booked a DreamTrip for Dubai. I recently requested a refund my trip wouldn't have been until Christmas time of this year.. My request was made over a month ago.. First I was told it would take 5-7 business days to receive my refund.. I was totally cool with that.. Then two weeks pass no refund.. I call my bank to see if any deposit was pending from ROVIA or World Ventures and it was not. So I call back again only to be told the same thing.. I call back a third time only to be told my card I used to purchase my trip was no longer on file. WOW!!! So all this time I waited for a refund that would NEVER come because my card was NO LONGER in file.. So I fill out a form sent to me via email giving my original credit card information. Then I'm told to wait an additional 5-7 business days.. Well today I call only to be told a manager hasn't signed off on my refund as of yet because NOW my refund has to be approved by a different department and after 5 entire business days no one has gotten around to my refund.. Needless to say I'm disappointed and not pleased. When I asked the operator who do I report this to she informed me no one from ROVIA would take my complaint and that I should inform World Ventures.

Terrible Customer Service
I booked a flight through Rovia in 2015. They sent me a "booking confirmation" email with all my flight details. I assumed this was my flight confirmation but now that I re-read the email 8 months later in preparation of my flight, I realize that it was not a flight confirmation it was just a "booking" confirmation. My flight is in 3 weeks. I contacted them to email me my final flight confirmation. They said the airline never received my credit card information so my flight wasn't booked. Why didn't the airline receive my credit card information? I booked through Rovia and gave it to them. If there was an issue why didn't they contact me and tell me there was an issue with my credit card? They have my email and telephone number. Now, a flight that I tried to book for $206 now costs me $515. I have never had this issue with other booking agencies. Never again. This is not to disparage WorldVentures/Dreamtrips because those trips are awesome but they need a different booking agency.

Worst Experience
We had the worst experience with "travel agent" Dina Holland who claimed to be an independent travel agent working under Rovia. Dina booked our flights and hotel for a spring break trip to Mexico. She booked the worst possible flight schedule, making us travel to Texas in order to fly when our group was from Oklahoma. She offered no alternative schedule and did not give any reasoning as to why she chose these flights (timing of the flights was AWFUL too!). After we arrived in Mexico and the hotel booking was incredibly messed up, Dina was a ghost. She was impossible to contact. She never answered her phone and has yet to respond to any of the emails I sent her while on vacation. She sent out a mass email to the group I was with saying she would "try" to resolve the problem and that was the last anyone has heard from her. That was the second day of our vacation- over a week ago. Dina claims to own her own travel agency, yet still communicated with us via Rovia- seems sketchy to me!
I would not trust this travel agent, or anyone else who claims to be an independent agent under Rovia.

Misleading cancellation policy
The company states the following cancellation policy:
If you don't check-in to the hotel on the first day of your reservation and do not alert the hotel in advance, the hotel reserves the right to cancel your reservation and may charge you a penalty.
In simple English, when you read this you think that if you cancel your reservation in advance of check in time you will not face penalties. However what they told me when I called was that the hotel gets to decided the definition of advance, but that's not what their policy says.
This company has a misleading policy and when I questioned them about it I was told that it was not their fault.
I wouldn't give your business to this company, they are shady and you can't trust them.
