Unable to book reservations the points seem worthless now. Haven't used them on the last 2 vacations. If you ever go on a timeshare sales presentation just say NO to all of their high pressure sales tactics Worldmark quality has gone to less than zero since Wyndham took over. Even 13 months out booking more than 2 days in a row is almost impossible, however you can get a 3 night stay where they try to sell you another timeshare. Just say NO and enjoy the free stay.

Never room availability
No room availability, they just suck you in to a loan to buy credits promising you the world....Liars, don't get sucked in. bought 12,000 credits for $28,000 and can't find any accommodation.....Don't do it, go to booking.com in advance and stay in better quality places. They have far less rooms than new owners, they collect the money and you wait for availability.

WorldMark committed deceptive sales…
WorldMark committed deceptive sales practices by running our credit twice and not disclosing that they would sign us up for credit cards. They are refusing to resolve this issue.
On 1/7/2021, my boyfriend and I went to a timeshare presentation. We received a deal on our casino stay by agreeing to go to a timeshare presentation. The requirements for the deal is that we had to attend the whole presentation and tour the property before we received our casino credit, a 3 day stay credit, and the discount on our current 4 day stay. After attending the 30 minute presentation, we sat down with the sales agent. He spoke to us about the different locations that WorldMark had across the country and in other countries. He then informed us that before he could show us the property, he had to run our credit. We question this, as we have never experienced this before from a timeshare presentation, but he stated again that in order for him to physically show us the property, he would need to run our credit. We agreed after that since we didn't want to lose our discount on our current stay in Vegas, as well as the additional casino & 3 day stay credit. We provided our information to the sales agent and then he showed us the property. after seeing the property, we sat back down with the sales agent and he spoke to us about the different options. The sales agent spoke to us that only the monthly payments would show on our credit report and that it would not affect our credit, since we were concerned about the additional debt of a timeshare after purchasing a home this year and launching a nonprofit for black, indigenous and people of color entrepreneurs. We were there for another 3 hours and decided to decline the timeshare option at that time due to our current commitments. We were informed that another sales agent will speak to us to provide us with a survey on our experience. That 2nd agent never provided us with a survey but spoke to us about reserving the original deal that the 1st agent spoke to us about. He stated that he could provide us with 20,000 credits for $3,129 at a low cost of $99 a month. we would have 2 years to test out WorldMark and decide after if we would want to pursue purchasing a timeshare. At the time we reflected on the 1st sales agent's feedback about not impacting our credit and only showing the monthly service charge of $99 on our credit. We decided to try out the discovery program and the 2nd sales agent told me that he was grabbing an ipad and we would be signing our names to what he told us. He repeated what we were signing, which as 2 years, 20000 credit, $3129 for the 2 years which would be $99 a month. We signed the ipad and continued on our vacation. We returned back to minnesota on midnight of 1/11. By 1/13 our credit monitoring programs alerted both of us about 2 hard credit inquiries. We were also notified about 2 reward credit cards being applied to our names without our knowledge. My boyfriend's credit decreased by 100 points, as well as my credit decreased as well. I spent 3 hours on the phone trying to get a hold of someone at WorldMark to resolve our concerns with credit cards that we did NOT agree to and the 2 hard inquiries on our credit report. All of WorldMark's practices with us was deceptive. They lied to us about having to run our credit prior to showing us the property. Legally they did not have a right to not show us the property 1st prior to asking us after if we were interested and THEN run our credit. The sales practices was deceptive and we were SCAMMED into applying for a credit card WITHOUT our knowledge or agreement. We want this issue to be resolved by cancelling our timeshare discovery package and removing these inquiries from our credit report. We do not have trust or faith in WorldMark due to the above deceptive sales practices which has harmed our credit.

Our experience with Wyndham Vacation…
Our experience with Wyndham Vacation Ownership has been terrible! We originally were offered a weekend stay for a promotional price, with the expectation that we would attend a sales presentation during our stay. We spent over 8 high-pressure hours in that initial presentation. They eventually wore us down when we began to believe that this was going to not only be a benefit to our lives, but also for our daughters in the coming years. For the past TEN years that we have been owners with this company, we have been subjected to this same pressure to make a purchase EVERY, SINGLE TIME we visit one of their resorts. The employees also call and harass us over the phone to make additional purchases, telling us that this will do things like lower our fees or improve the access that we have. Nothing that they have ever told us has been true. We caution everyone, do your research before agreeing to meet with anyone in their organization.

I am a victim of fraud and misrepresentation
I am a victim of fraud and misrepresentation by Worldmark timeshare. I am a senior citizen who suffers from dementia and bi-polar disorder. My son is helping me file this complaint, we have uncovered evidence that I was misled and taken advantage of by Worldmark sales representatives at a timeshare presentation. After I was duped the first time, I visited the new timeshare with my husband in order to try and get out of the contract I had signed 6 weeks earlier and was again misled and told that the only way out of my current contract was to upgrade again so that I could qualify for Ovation program. My son has researched this matter and discovered that there was no way I could qualify for this program and that instead of upgrading me to pay off the old contract they coerced me into purchasing a SECOND timeshare obligation. We first purchased a timeshare through Wyndham in 2014, but as health issues and my husband's early onset dementia got worse, it become more difficult for us to travel. We began the process of trying to exit our timeshare obligation with Wyndham back in 2017. We were told that the only way to get out of the obligation was to upgrade so we could qualify for the Ovation program. My son has found through his research that Wyndham's agents upgraded me 4 times in 5 years.
On January 4 2020 my husband and I went to a Wyndham location in Arizona. While there of course we were subject to a "timeshare presentation" and thought this was put on by Wyndham and that we could address our intention to exit the existing timeshare. We told the sales agent that we wanted to get out of our Wyndham timeshare. The sales agent told us that the best way to do that was to purchase an ADDITIONAL timeshare through the Worldmark Scottsdale, AZ location. If I would have known what was going on we NEVER would have agreed to this. Our goal was to get out of the Wyndham contract, we had no intention of entering into a SECOND timeshare contract with a different company which would increase our payments etc. It was a very high pressure situation and we were pushed and told that if we wanted out of the Wyndham timeshare we needed to enter into this new contract #xxx-002 which we signed on January 4, 2020. If this was truly about getting out of Wyndham we would have traded in the Wyndham contract to upgrade into Worldmark but this was an entirely new transaction and we now had a new loan for $21,000 with a 15.49% interest rate.
When the bills began to come in from this second timeshare my son wanted to know what was going on. My husband and I tried to call into customer care and were told that before we cancel the timeshare we should come to the property and talk to the agents face to face. However, instead of being given the option to get out of the timeshare we never wanted to purchase in the first place we were coerced into upgrading and taking on a larger loan with almost $5000 in down payments on February 23 with new contract #xxx 006. We did sign the contract and the paperwork but did not understand what we were doing, these decisions were made based on misrepresentations that the only way to get out of the other timeshare was to upgrade. We had been in contracts with Wyndham for six years, and when we were solicited by Worldmark's aggressive and misleading sales team we told them all we wanted was to get out of the Wyndham deal. Instead of telling us the truth they lied and convinced to buy a second timeshare, and later when we tried to fix this they upgraded us into a more expensive timeshare costing us even more money.

Beware of Wyndham Vacation Timeshare offers
When we stayed at the Disney World property, we were asked to attend a short tour of the facilities. When the representatives started to discuss with us the benefits of Wyndham ownership, we told her that we already owned a timeshare, were extremely dissatisfied, and had no interest in purchasing another. We were told by Wyndham employees that they would refer us to a timeshare cancellation attorney to help us resolve our issues with our prior timeshare. This was our main reason for purchasing with Wyndham, however the alleged attorney that they referred us to was actually a total scam. Be careful of your interactions with this company.

Wyndham Excalating Fees
We have been timeshare owners for over 25 years, however, Wyndham taking over the property we owned has been a nightmare! Since they have taken over, all we have seen is sky-rocketing maintenance fees. To make matters worse, they have changed the seasonality of our week, which has made it less valuable than it was in the past. We have reached out to them many times, but they never respond. It appears they are inflating the maintenance fees to force legacy owners to upgrade with them. Be very careful – we didn’t choose to do business with Wyndham, but we are still hurt by their bad business practices!

1 Star was too generous
When we first visited a Wyndham property, we were offered free tickets to an event in exchange for attending one of their sales presentations. We were kept in that meeting for more than six hours! We left thinking that what we purchased was a great investment in our future and that we could refinance this to get a better interest rate. This is not an investment! When we attempted to refinance, we were told by the bank that this was untrue as it had no real value. Please be very careful in your dealings with this company! We wish we had been more careful and had insisted on time to review all of the documents that we were rushed into signing.
