It has created problems that never existed before and couldn’t be any more user unfriendly if it tried. Our company has just fully implemented Workday as the primary HR tool, for pay, holidays etc. And as many other have said, it is not fit for purpose. The UI, work flow, in fact every element is badly designed/laid out. The holiday booking tool is utterly hopeless, possibly the worst holiday planner I have ever seen, trying to see and overview of your team, who has how many days left etc is just horrible, i have a spreadsheet that works more efficiently! The pay tool is a joke. Not sure how much time, energy and resources this is going to swallow up, but its going to cost far more to facilitate than the company thinks it will save.

Only giving two stars. Overall this is not a user friendly interface and is very very "clunky". Try going back to the previous screen and it brings you right back to the beginning where you have to repeat all the 6 steps it took you to get to where you wanted to be. Difficult to navigate and overall poor UI. Also very buggy and likes to crash. The app is pointless as it doesn't have all the access/documents you would require.

I am an agency user of Workday for one of our clients. We obviously have to use lots of applicant tracking/ HRI systems with various clients to put through shortlisted candidates for vacancies assigned to agencies. When I have to use Workday, I get really anxious. I've managed to successfully log on once. Always something wrong with the password or username or authenticator code, and then I'm locked out. Our clients also obviously don't know how to use it either - it takes at least a week for anyone to respond to queries to resolve, and the communication via the workday system is all wonky, goes to the wrong recipient probably because the internal recruiter didn't know how to send the communication via workday in the first place. This software has caused us not to to want to recruit for our client because it takes so much time to even just log on to see the vacancy details, never mind adding an applicant.

This stupid website can't remember my resume details and I have to type them in again every single time I apply for a job at a different company and it forces me to create a new profile. Imagine typing in your resume 100 times because this stupid website can't transfer the data?!!!!

Absolutely terrible software. So many companies using it to hire staff and I have literally had to repeat information twice that is already on the attached CV. Everything is Americanised from the date to the education section so A levels do not exist and every time you apply for a job you need to reinput all the details again as you cannot save previous information. My heart sinks a little bit every time I have to apply for a job with this system.

I have never experienced such a horror as Workday. An absolute POS program and one can only assume that whoever designed it, was high on crack cocaine when they did it. Try paying students with this garbage program every term and it never works properly. If a student is working in another department and I don't know about it, it won't let me hire them. It'll tell me that I have to do it as a "New Hire" even though I know full well the student has worked here before. Then when you do the "New Hire", you'll eventually get a message telling you you did it wrong and it should be a "Re-hire". Seriously. WHAT A PIECE OF CRAP. Plus if you try hiring a student as a Research Assistant, it won't let you pay them hourly. Nooooo, you can only pay them salary, even though the hours each week can vary. It's hard to believe anyone likes this program because it is horrible. I hope whoever designed it ends up broke and alone in life.

Most user unfriendly software I’ve ever come across.

Does not work. Paycheck corrections are constantly necessary. 4 months in and only more problems are found and old problems are not fixed. It promised a lot and did not deliver. It cannot calculate time for shift differentials, Baylor pay or holidays. It is not user friendly, and despite 'training' that was more like advertising no supervisor or administrative training was provided. I do not recommend using this software at all.
