I live in northwest Montana. I ordered the experimenters special, and grew carola, caribe, Yukon gold, and reddale. I had 100% germination, great potatoes! Can't pick a favorite, they were all delicious. I plan on ordering Yukon gold and reddale again, they gave the best yields.

Glad to get this positive report, Jennie. Glad our organic seed is performing well for you out there in snowy Montana. Stay warm!

Great service. Respect dedication to organic products. Have recommended to friends and family. Would like to see some Kennebec potatoes though!
Response from Wood Prairie Family FarmOct 7, 2017
Melinda, thanks for the great Review. For many years we loved and grew Kennebec. When "Elba" came out from Cornell we grew it side-by-side with Kennebec. From our trials we came to believe Elba excels over Kennebec in terms of production qualities and Elba tastes at least as good as Kennebec - which is saying a lot! For these many reasons we ended up dropping Kennebec in favor or Elba. I encourage you to give Elba a try next year and please let us know what you think. Thanks. Jim
