Woodbridge describe themselves as Expert Ghostwriting and Publishing Services but in my experience they are quite the opposite, more akin to a Vanity Publisher and with no quality control process. Edits I requested to my manuscript invariably introduced unwanted changes so that I constantly had to check the entire manuscript after each edit. The problem was compounded as I was not permitted to talk directly to the editor/reviewer. Instead I had to communicate via a “Project Manager”. After the 4th iteration I cancelled the contract but having paid in full up front I received no compensation.

Working with Woodbridge for 8 months to publish my book was the worse professional experience as a customer I've ever had. It was clear and made clearer overtime that this company did not care about me or my project as they continued to deliver below mediocre work. Missing commas, missing page numbers, missed deadlines, dishonest pricing, gaslighting and straight up lying. I would have an easier time starting my own publishing company. I've given them chance after chance to rectify their mistakes and provide me with reperations, but no go. Avoid the headache, these people are at best incompetent, at worse professional scammers. More than costing me my time, I lost over $5,000 as a direct result of their delays, lies, and unprofessionalism. SYM. 8/21/23 update: I just discovered a few weeks ago that I'm only getting 25% royalties from book sales Woodbridge set up therefore I had to unpublish my book and looking for a new publisher. I'm unclear why this is the case and after reaching out to Woodbridge several times I have not heard back. I continue to be extremely disappointed by their lack of professionalism and shady business practices.

Constant mistakes. They published the wrong version of the book. Shipping books to the wrong address. I spent most of my time pointing out their errors and fixing their mistakes. They were not accountable for their mistakes. Woodbridge team because defense, and I had to show proof after proof of the mistakes to get them to admit they made mistakes. Ended up rewriting their marketing copy and rejecting their marketing because it was off topic or put together poorly. Not only a waste of money and valuable time, but also the product destroyed my credibility with clients and my audience. Horrible experience.

Woodbridge Publishers has my best-selling novel, ENEMY LINES, from my Alexander King series on their website as one of their "Recently Released" titles. I have never, and would never do business with them. Seeing as how they have fraudulently claimed to have had a hand in my novel published by King's Ransom Publishing, and that I had never even heard of Woodbridge until a fellow writer pointed out their scam of using my novel for their gain, work with them at your own risk. My attorney is preparing a cease and desist as we speak. I've been doing this for seven years now, and have heard countless stories of scammers taking aspiring authors' money. This has been the first time my original work has been falsely used to gain new customers. I'm sure it won't be the last, but it won't last on their website. Caution to all, Bradley
