James Martin and his team at Woodbridge Publishers were excellent and provided hands on, detailed editing and formatting help. This was our first publishing experience with my 9yr old son's first children's book. We went into this with little knowledge on what it involved. James and team helped us with multiple revisions, editing, formatting and walked us through the publishing process step by step. Response time for queries and availability on basecamp was excellent. James scheduled multiple zoom meetings with us through this process. Highly recommended.

My experience of cooperating with Woodbridge Publishers was very positive. I am grateful to them for their excellent work. I recommend this publishing house to authors. I have recently published my book through Woodbridge Publishers. This is not my first book, but it is my first book produced at my own expense. It has become very difficult to find suitable publishers since around the time of COVID. I had a very modest budget. The question of price was crucial in my case. It is not the cheapest solution. Today there are many options for free publishing. Yet the packages that include proofreading are the least expensive. Today some authors use AI to check grammar, but it doesn't work at a sufficient level. The attitude towards me and the readiness to help were exceptional. In most cases, even submission of the manuscript is complex. Especially academic publishers require one to describe the potential market and specify every detail that, in normal situations, the author cannot know. Authors should submit a list of the specialists in his area. Nevertheless, if the specialists have no personal contact with the author, they rarely can spend their time reading the manuscript. In contrast, the team at Woodbridge Publishers is very attentive to the author’s problems. The team remains in touch with the author throughout the entire process. No question goes unanswered. The response time is also extremely short. The entire publishing process is clear and transparent. There is no requirement for the author to be a lawyer, manager, artist, or influential member of a certain group, who knows the correct answer to any question unrelated to his profession. In the very beginning, I checked the information about Woodbridge Publishers. The main points of criticism are 1) it is a vanity press; 2) low financial return; 3) aggressive sales. An author has the right to respond negatively to aggressive sales. There is no problem. Also, it is mostly impossible to earn from book sales today. Thus, any new author should know that it is not worth writing a book for financial profit. Even Johannes Gutenberg went bankrupt. Regarding vanity… Is the exchange of ideas in vain? Is the impact on the world of ideas in vain? Do you not want to have an impact on reality? Do you not wish to make our world better? I am very grateful to the team at Woodbridge Publishers. They do really great work. I truly appreciate Richard Bentley’s correctness and his desire to help. Project Manager Jake Miller was very attentive and flexible. The assistance of senior author consultant Mike Sinclair was always helpful. Mostly, I was in touch with Will Adams, who worked very diligently my project.
