I liked that there were templates— however there were so many pre added things like photos and info so I had to go manually deleted all that info to fill in my information. Also navigating through the website was confusing sometimes. Looking through everything is a little overwhelming — also combining guests into one family/deleting guests should be easier but it isn’t for some reason.

I wasn't crazy about the interface for registry cash gifts (they take you to a page that implies you have to pay $5.99 for an e-card [you don't; you can get a free nonpersonalized card]; then they offload you to Venmo to actually send the gift, and you have to go back to mark "gift sent" in their interface -- all in all, it would have been much easier to just send a check and a physical card).

Great website features and plenty of options available. The Google address is not picking correctly yet it’s right there on the map. On Google Maps it shows correctly but on the Joy page the address changes and picks something else. Also venue name does not appear on the home page. Only the location which is the general area.

I do like the option to send out reminder emails and create your own templates but I do wish we were able to send out text message reminders as well as attach our own invite links instead of using what only with joy provides.

the guest list for the app is either restrictive or non-intuitive. I had to go to my PC browser to collect the correct addresses of my guests. Additionally, it was not clear for the printed envelopes what would be printed. We are rewriting quite a few envelopes to include joint guests who are couples that live together.

We've loved certain features of Joy, like the ability to categorize guests and customize the website, schedule, and RSVP questions based on guest categories. That's why we ultimately chose Joy actually! There are some features that are good, but could be better, like website customization. The design choices feel limited and some of the heading and body text logic seems off. Finally, the area we struggled with the most has been creating our RSVP questionnaire. The limited functionality and conditional logic made it difficult to construct the survey we wanted. We were hoping it would function like basic form software (like Microsoft Forms), but it lacked the ability to create multiple select responses and conditional responses beyond a single branch. It also glitched and wouldn't allow us to delete a question once it had been created, so we just had to set it as viewable to 0 guests.

Some people find very difficult to use because sometimes create duplicate entry and also. Some times it’s asking how many attending with you- people find it difficult if it’s total or plus

How to upload contacts was not clear about the format. It showed a 1 for the country code, but when I manually added it to the spreadsheet it rejected most of the contacts input. It was difficult to change some of the stock pictures to personalize pictures. Sending RSVP reminder via text worked well.
