I have been so frustrated by this terrible system, with joy, more like with unbearable frustration and maybe my fiance choosing this program will end our marriage before it happens (jk). But seriously you cant do anything outside of their system, you cant even upload a pdf to the site or include a pdf in an email. An i-frame for a wedding map I spent days working on, nope. Customizable layout outside of their templates, nope. Just absolutely brutal.

So many guest and I had problems with the links and constantly being kicked out while trying to work on the website.

Not intuitive or user friendly. Honestly I hated every interaction I had with the app and website and wish I’d done my research before committing to it.

The customer service agent was helpful and edited the stock photo on the back end. However, the backend of With Joy needs some fixes with there automation and coding. Stock photos were sent out on our reminders, with all of our images having been edited on our end properly. No solution for resending the correct reminder or discount offered. This is an unfortunate glitch in the coding, and I will not recommend this wedding website to anyone.

Our wedding ended being very small and not very traditional. All the tips and tricks that this website forces on you sort of makes the experience feel very overbearing. Having portions of things already filled out for you to then edit- hated that. If you are straying from any traditional norms of a wedding, using Joy wasn't at all helpful. Using Joy to build a personal wedding website was the only thing that was useful. Customizing RSVP's was a struggle to use since we didn't sync any contacts to Joy itself nor did we use their invite services. The registry usage was annoying as well. The instructions were a little unclear. I never received any emails that anyone had made any purchases. I had to track down people who bought things asking if they had sent their gifts to me, when it turned out that Shipments had to be cleared by myself. Over-all using Joy wasn't a very helpful tool to use while planning our wedding. I will not be recommending use of Joy.

The link only worked for people half the time. Sometimes money would come into my venmo account immediately & other times it wouldn't. As well as the website being difficult to set up.

The wedding website is just not that great. Lots of feedback from guests that things are not working

The registry is very frustrating to use. Hard to add items to cart without putting on registry, promo codes received for out of stock merchandise were hard to use (seemed to arbitrarily combine promo codes and then expire without using full balance), can customer support was slow to respond.
