Its not the best website but we overlooked that as others have used it and the invitations seemed good and easy to track. Such began our horror story, you will think that all of these little issues wont be a problem and you are just being picky but honestly DONT DO IT! The final straw for me was the registry, after you spend months building the website getting your invitations ready and guests list ready to send it off and Bam... You cant have a registry outside of the US... but joy operates worldwide... SHOCKING! What's even worse is they don't even tell you this they just return all the money to the original card holders card... Save yourself the time, go with someone else, joy is cheap because its not user friendly.

Very difficult to use this sight. I am so sorry my daughter and fiancé chose it. Difficult adding addresses, getting titles and names to be printed formally and properly, and no linings for envelopes. I could not recommend this sight.

This is the most cumbersome and confusing registry site i ever encountered as a gift giver. i selected my gift, was redirected to amazon to purchase, went back to mark it purchased then i received an email asking me to add the tracking information with a link. The link just took me back to the registry list with no option to add tracking info. after a bunch of emails with customer service, they explained only the registry managers can add the tracking info. super not helpful. plenty of good platforms out there, i would avoid this one!!

If I could give this negative stars I would. I accidentally booked a room for the wrong weekend, and did not realize it until the morning we were supposed to arrive. After many calls, their "affiliate" (who actually handled the booking with the hotel) could not change my reservation because there was no one at With Joy. Their own affiliate had no phone number, so we had to email and hope. I tried the chat box, but was told that I could get a reponse within one business day. I ended up getting a room at the hotel by booking with them directly for the night. I finally got an email the next day, but they were clearly confused about the situation. They would send multiple emails that appeared computer generated within a short time. Long story short - I ended up paying for a room that I could not use because they weren't available to approve a simple change that the affiliate and the hotel were ready to make.

I’ve had a really frustrating experience with Joy lately. Multiple items I’ve ordered have been stuck in “processing” for over a week with no updates or resolution. What’s worse is that items show as available when ordering, only to later become unavailable. Instead of a real solution, I’m given credits—but those credits are basically useless because any new order I place just sits in “processing” indefinitely too. It’s turned into a cycle: unavailable items → credits → orders that never go through. At this point, it’s hard to rely on their service at all. *Added 2 weeks later* I am STILL waiting for them to resolve the issues they said they were going to fix!!!! It's my gift money and I haven't been able to receive it and I will be sharing my experience with every bride I will ever know!

Firstly the user facing is not great at all, most of my guests had to message me in confusion to what was on the wedding invite. There was no way to alter this. Secondly and most importantly, I put a list of local hotels on my website for guests from afar. I thought this was a great feature, until a couple of guests had booked a room at a hotel that was 60 miles away using the link through the withjoy website. The correct hotel is on my website and so this error falls with withjoy connecting a faulty link to the incorrect hotel. The correct hotel and incorrect hotel have the same name and are owned by the same company (but still not our fault there is an incorrect link!). I have sent proof of this faulty link being used by myself. I have contacted the incorrect hotel and they are unable to refund as it is through withjoy's booking company, Agoda (who also won't help!) There is no assistance from withjoy for their own mistake and are refusing a refund eventhough the faulty falls onto their system! We are now £450 out of pocket (plus the added stress of a bride a couple of weeks out from the wedding! Would not recommend this website at all. You and your guests will be out of pocket.

All I’ll say is that you shouldn’t just pick this because it’s “free” (it’s not the, there are hidden charges). The other premium website builders that are up front about their pricing.. well what can I say. They don’t try to trick you by saying it’s free when it’s not. The user experience for the guests is also quite bad. I’m glad it wasn’t too late for me to pull out and go with one of the other options.

Be aware when using Joy's Hotel booking service you cannot cancel once selected. We booked thru Joy's service for a summer wedding, our plans changed even though the date was 4 months away Joy would not allow any changes. Better to book on your own as it allows greater flexibility.
