I don't typically leave negative reviews, but I believe it's important to share my experience. I was a Wise Pelican customer for approximately eight months. I started on one farming campaign and later switched to the Power Farm campaign on March 2, 2026, hoping for better results. Despite investing approximately $500 per month, I received only one lead from the Power Farm campaign. More importantly, I did not receive a single closed transaction from either campaign. I understand that direct mail is a long-term marketing strategy and that results can vary by market. However, after investing around $4,000 over eight months, I expected to see more engagement and a better return on my investment. The most disappointing part of my experience came when I decided to cancel because the campaign wasn't producing results for my business. I was charged a $1,000 cancellation fee, which added to my frustration. The platform itself is easy to use, and my review is based solely on my personal experience. If you're considering Wise Pelican, I encourage you to carefully review the contract—especially the cancellation terms—and weigh the overall investment before committing.
Response from Wise PelicanOct 7, 2026
Hi Carla, thank you for sharing your experience and for the kind words about the platform. We understand why the results you described were disappointing. Most customers use Wise Pelican without a long-term commitment. PowerFarming is an optional annual program: in exchange for a year of mailing, we provide discounted mailings, free data, campaign setup help, and its other included features. We keep the agreement to one page so the commitment and cancellation terms are easy to understand. We ask customers to plan for six to twelve months of consistent mailings to build familiarity through repeated touches. Results vary, and we understand that the response you saw fell short of your expectations.
