Poor fit on one lower bar

Rack arrived in great shape, assembly is easy, quality is good. Would be nice if a touch-up kit was included. Very happy with purchase.

I was excited to get the wine racks we ordered which were stained pine. I did not expect to have to almost completely re-stain the product and in several cases sand and re-stain. The product for the most part had never been sanded during manufacturing and your quality control procedures need a serious overhaul. I paid extra for staining and screw assembly, only to find that the screw holes were not stained and there were no cover caps for the screw holes. When i inquired about the missing caps i was told that i should have not ordered screw assembly but rather left it as nail assembly.

Your wine rack design, ordering, building, shipping, timeliness were all great. We received the rack undamaged. Your assembly instructions could use some improvement. You should add a note to use pilot holes for screws. This keeps a hard wood from cracking. I should have thought of it myself but adding this step will prevent negative feedback in the future. I did call to see about getting three horizontal spacer bars due to mine cracking. The customer service rep said you could do that and would turn it over to production team. I’ve heard nothing since and have not received any replacements. Hmmmm… However, the rack design and functionality is great and they are being put to good use.

Great experience from the start. They sent stain samples on the species of our choice up front so we could be sure what we were buying. I had issues with assembly and they were prompt and courteous with advice and instruction. The toe kick was left out of our shipment. They compensated by sending us pre-cut trim pieces and added a trim piece and a sample of the stain (which we could use on the oak we employ to anchor our unit to the wall). Edith was fantastic to work with. This review does not/cannot emphasize the pleasure/satisfaction I felt every time I talked with someone at WineRacks.com. Competent. Courteous. EXPEDITIOUS. I highly recommend doing business with this exemplary US operation.

Very unhappy with their customer service, I still have not heard back on my second email about getting replacement parts. When I started assembling the racks and using the provided screws (by hand), the wood started to crack on the few three pieces I assembled. I immediately stopped and contacted customer service, it took several days for someone to get back to me, And when they did get back to me, they kind of put the blame on me for what happened. I followed exactly what their instructions. I had to pre-drilled the racks to make sure the rest of the wood won't cracked. I'm still waiting a response from my second email asking for the three pieces to be replace. Never again.
