Not what we were expecting
I was looking for a vintage 1941 bottle of wine, and winedeals appeared in the search results. I purchased two bottles for an 80th birthday party. Upon arrival, the bottles were vintage 2018, and not 1941. The recipient, expecting vintage 1941, called winedeals to see if there was an error, and winedeals stated they do not carry wine as old as 1941, even though the wine description I saw on the web site had 1941. So much for an 80 year old bottle of wine for an 80th birthday party. Disappointed.

Dear Jim, We're very sorry about your experience on our site. In looking into this, it looks like a technical glitch with our software caused the wine to be mis-labeled on our website as a 1941 vintage (our program took the first two numbers of the '414' in the wine's name and mistook that as 1941 vintage). We usually catch things like this when they happen, but in this case we didn't and we're very sorry for the trouble it caused you. We're correcting this record at this moment so it doesn't happen again. --WineDeals
