Our first visit, as reviews sounded good. However, very disappointed, menu was not explained, hence paying £46. For 2 turkey lunch, as we did not want 2 courses! Set price of £32. Place was cold, sat with my scarf and coat on all through lunch, took 1 hour to get our lunch, and we were only the 2nd couple in there. Sadly no ambience, and thats a shame. We will not be back. Not value for money.

Placed order for wine cellar door on/about 3/26/2021 and told that the order would take 6-8 weeks. I contacted them on 5/16/21 to find out when the door would be shipped. On 5/17/21, I was initially told July. When I asked why isn't it coming in May since I ordered in March I was then told the door would be ready in two weeks. Then I recieved another email stating the door wouldn't be ready until Mid June. I suspect the order was forgotten and instead of being honest, I am getting the run around. I am hoping the door arrives in June and is perfect, so my contractor can finish the work, this door has caused a 3 week delay to my basement renovation, so far. Customer Service leaves a lot to be desired.

I ordered a custom wine cellar from this company. $16,000, in select hardwood - African Mahogany with a walnut stain. Here's a brief on my experience: Approximately 30 boxes received, unnumbered. Had to open every box only to find no detailed instructions and critical missing pieces including the brad nailer. The worst stain job i have ever seen (and i am a qualified woodworker for over 20 years), they didn't prep the wood and applied a water-based stain so the work was blotchy and made the surface extremely rough due to raised fibers. Worse, they packaged everything when the stain was still wet, no paper in between pieces so everything was stuck together. Upon separating, several pieces got damaged. Several pieces were just built incorrectly reflecting seemingly zero quality control post manufacturing and before shipping. Custom drawers cabinets - two slider rails are having a quality issue and the plywood at the back was too big. Called them - didn't hear a word of apology. Said they were willing to "fix." Would send an installer sometime next week so he could review and then try to fix. Meanwhile i lost a whole weekend trying to install the defective stuff only to give up halfway after the issues just kept piling up. And now i have to wait for days and weeks while my bar area looks like a junkyard waiting for these guys to try and fix? And then they would fix yet again on my time? And the VP made it seem like he was doing me a favor by "paying for the installer to come out and check things out." I told then to just take the whole thing back. Nope - its custom they said so they can't take it back. If only they would have taken care of the quality issues, and had some semblance of customer service, the product itself isn't bad. But what's the point of a good product if there are so many manufacturing defects? Here's my advice: Think twice before you buy from this company. They say they have been in business "30 years" - maybe my order was just an anomaly - but for the number of problems i had, i doubt it. And remember this was their best series- Vintner. I shudder to think of the quality of the other series.

I love the concept of this wine rack. However, it comes with only the sides assembled and you have to attached the cross members. You are sent nails (yes nails) to fasten the pieces together. Not a problem if you have a drill. This is very thin redwood. You guessed it - it split!! It would have been so easy to asssemble and ship or pre-drill the holes for you. Disappointing. Take my advice - pre-drill before nailing!!
