Wine rack carton arrived in good condition. Wasn't quite prepared for the "some assembly required" issue but was ok. Yes, used a nail gun. Trying to hammer nails by hand would have been an exercise in frustration. Couple of the pieces split when nailed due to grain in wood. Had to glue and clamp to repair. Rack works fine, pretty much what I expected.

Despite what some have said online, the provided nail gun worked flawlessly. It was also ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY for assembling the rack units. Customers should know that if their order is below the "free nail gun" threshold, they must obtain one for assembling the units. The directions for the individual rack units were straightforward and assembly went without a hitch. When it came to combining the individual units into the overall racking system, however, there could have been better guidance in the instructions. My finish carpenter buddy and I eventually figured it out, and the racks look great. I would plan on obtaining the help of a carpenter for about half a day if you want to do everything else yourself. You will need a chop saw to cut the corners on the trim pieces. Over all we are happy with the result.

Our 8ft Tasting Center rack is looking great. We get lots of compliments from everyone who visits. We did end up (and highly recommend) using a brad nailer and assembled the entire rack in a few hours. There were a few nonessential pieces broken/missing and double of some others but the replacements arrived within a few days of the request.

Although it took a little longer than they thought it would, there were no issues and we are very pleased with the new cellar. The room is transformed!

We had a great experience with Wine Cellar Innovations. My wife and I envisioned the cellar design we wanted and Nick at WCI helped make it a reality. Nick designed and modified our cellar on multiple occasions until we had what we wanted. Our cellar was a combo of 6ft Vintner Series in redwood and Vintage View metal racks. Assembly was a breeze with a braid nailer. I assembled them by myself, although the job would have been even easier with two people. I would not recommend assembly without a nail gun (or a supportive spouse)! Overall our experience was very positive. Communication was excellent and WCI provides a good, cost-effective product. Our cellar was about $3 per bottle.

First of all let me explain that I had wanted an under the stairs "waterfall" wine rack for a long long time. When I spotted your units that fit together to completely fill my available space I was very excited. When I received the two units thrown together in the same box without any distinction I was annoyed as I separated each kit before I could begin assembly. It was a quick and free delivery. My first impression was that the wood was rough and not finished. The mahogany stain was poorly applied and needed a second coat. I did in fact re-coat each piece with a combination mahogany stain/poly product from Minwax, which improved the overall look. I did not use a nail gun, but did pre-drill each hole and countersink each nail. I filled the nail holes with mahogany wood putty, also from Minwax. The instructions were adequate. The assembled pieces are sturdy. I then touched up parts of the most visible assembled pieces with another light coat of the stain/poly. When I placed the two racks together I was disappointed to see that they did not line up exactly. The smaller rack is 1/2 inch shorter. I have placed a faux grape cluster to hide this in the finished, displayed front of the wine rack. Since I did not need the side bottom pieces I was able to use them to help finish not only the the front bottom of the racks, but part of the staircase. That was nice. Overall I am happy with the product and the purchase. In hindsight, I would have been willing to pay more for an assembled product made with a furniture grade finished mahogany. I have received compliments on the custom look, and I would recommend your product.

I got what I ordered except the paneling was not stained and I had to request a credit which I got. The wood was rough, watch for splinters but looks good. Overall quality is good. The order was processed to my satisfaction and delivery was what was promised. Overall the experience with Wine Innovations was good to slightly above expectation. The assembly process itself was intuitive and straight-forward but I would definitely recommend using the brad nailer which was provided for orders greater than $2000. The assembly is strong and self supporting. As have an improvement recommendation to the manufacture as follows: Use supports in the front that space the columns (w/ datoed slots) same as in the back. Without these on stackable units or otherwise, the columns may not be aligned.

Designer wine racks working just fine. Thanks a bunch for the design an materials. Assembly was a snap. I personally used a hammer, with a few taps everyone can enjoy a bautiful wood wine rack from Innovations. The curve  sections were a bit tricky at first, but came together nicely. unfortunately I stained racks myself, an a nail gun  would of made the job a whole lot easier. One comment, on curve sections would like to see a curve section turn counterclockwise instead of always right or clockwise.
