Shoes took a long time to arrive. When they did the quality was poor but when I tried to claim a refund they keep asking for more and more information including photos. They then said that if I wanted a refund it would be very expensive for me and I would have to send the shoes overseas so would I accept a 15% discount. They advertise "Easy Returns" - the reality is you can not return the goods without it costing more than you paid for them.

Very bad experience, dress did not look like on the picture, quality is not great either and trying to return the item seems an impossibly task. They keep saying sorting office is in Asia and a discount of something you don’t like is the best option regardless of how many times you repeat you wish to return it. Still trying to get it returned and refunded

An absolute Scam. The quality is sgocking and the products are not as shown or described. They are also making it very difficult to get a full refund stating that their UK warehouse cannot accept or process refunds and any returns need to be sent to Asia. My email - I am confident that my consumer rights are being broken. Under UK law, because the items are not up to standard, you the retailer, are legally required to cover all reasonable return costs. A company’s internal terms and conditions cannot override my statutory rights. Even if you as a company are based internationally, if you target UK consumers (pricing in GBP, English website, etc.), you the company must adhere to UK trading standards. Furthermore, misleading me into thinking you were a UK-based company to mask the reality of expensive international returns can violate the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations. Under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, the items I received are not of satisfactory quality or up to standard. Because the items are faulty/substandard, your company is legally obligated to bear the cost of the return. Your internal return policy cannot override my statutory rights. Please provide a pre-paid shipping label or arrange a UK collection point. Alternatively, I will accept a full refund without returning the items if you choose not to provide a UK-based return option.

I like many of the other people who reviewed Wilson and Carter wrongly thought they were a UK based company and the two comments I read about returns said they were hassle and stress free. Neither of the initial searches said I was responsible for returns package & payments or that it would incur customs cost. I will be contacting my credit card company regarding a chargeback. I hope trust pilot flag up all these complaints to help future purchasers.

Avoid this lot like the plague. Quality is appalling and they will do anything to avoid giving a refund. First they tell you they will knock something off the price (eventually 40%) and you can keep the item. If you don't want to do that then they say you have to return it to an address in China costing you $30-$50 which will take "several weeks" and no guarantee that you will get a refund. This is the stage I have currently reached with them. I have pointed out that I bought the item from them not the Chinese manufacturer and under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 they are responsible for the refund. Do not have any dealings with them-an absolute shower!

Ordered a jacket from this website. Took weeks to arrive and the quality of the jacket is very very poor. The jacket is nothing like the photo. The pockets are not pockets just poor sown on bits of material. Now trying to request a refund, but like others being asked to ship this back to China at my cost. I have been offered a 20% cashback and keep the item of 25% store credit ! Very poor - avoid at all costs

Do not buy from this company, it is a scam. The blouse I bought is nothing like the picture, shapeless, short, cheap fabric with loose stitching. They said it was reduced from £174 to £35 which is obviously a lie.

Shoes took a week or more to arrive so unable to take them on holiday. The shoes were packed inadequately so the heels of the shoes were bent. The smell of chemicals from the packaging was overwhelming. I have yet to see how their returns process works
