I’ve traveled with WT five times over the last 15 years. They are one of my favorite travel companies for small group active travel. Always outstanding guides, interesting routes, the best hotels and meals. I’m sure I will travel with them again!

My husband and I have traveled all over the world with Wilderness Travel. We have never been disappointed with their guides, planning, hotels, etc. They are a "top notch" company for adventure travel

We had a great time even though the total eclipse was obscured by clouds and the high seas prevented us from landing on Pitcairn island. The speakers, ship and service was very good and we had a wonderful time meeting our fellow travelers.

Thanks for the feedback, Gunnar. We were all disappointed that the weather in Polynesia was so unseasonable and that it prevented our Pitcairn landing and obscured totality. This was the very first time that we have missed seeing the eclipse on 22 different Wilderness Travel eclipse trips! But we're glad that you enjoyed the beauty of the Polynesian islands and had a wonderful time onboard. We hope you'll join us for more adventures in the future!

All of the off ship tours were extra & this was an expensive trip to begin with. Have been on other trips where only exceptional tours are extra. The ship itself & all the people on it were wonderful.

Thank you, Elaine, for your feedback. We are so glad that you enjoyed your experience on our recent Special Event: Total Solar Eclipse Cruise. Please note that almost all of our Wilderness Travel small ship adventures include shore activities at no additional cost. However, for this particular departure, we were subject to the procedures of the cruise company itself, which did not include extra excursions in their costs. We completely understand your points above and do appreciate your reply. Overall, we felt that this particular boat was the best choice for our plans in the region, and we're so glad that you enjoyed the ship and those onboard. We hope to welcome you to another Wilderness Travel trip in the near future!
Connie
Wilderness Travel’s Spirit of Ireland trip was simply magical. Every step from signing up to packing details were easy. The staff at Wilderness Travel was helpful and extremely knowledgeable. The trip guides were simply the best, by the end of the trip they felt like new best friends. Their knowledge, kindness, and talent handling all the details of our trip made our trip. We went fabulous places where crowds were not. We were presented with an amazing arc of history that brought us through the past into the present. The hiking was challenging and beautiful. The hotels and restaurants were all excellent. In fact, 5 stars is just not enough!
