All of our trips with Wilderness Travel have been beyond superb! The itineraries are laid out thoughtfully and the descriptions of trips are spot on. All of out guides have been excellent, over a variety of trips. We have had adventures we never would have even considered without Wilderness Travel's expertise.

Wilderness Travel does an outstanding job with itineraries and permanent guides. With any travel company the first time you use them you are not sure what you are going to get. We had heard good things about Wilderness Travel and our first trip with them confirmed the favorable comments. We have travelled with them twice and signed up for a third adventure early next year. They are not the cheapest offering but we like what they provide. Which are great itineraries, great permanent guide staffs, great accommodations, and wonderful food from wherever you are in the world. Regardless of your planned trip the weather can impact the guides ability to follow an exact itinerary. On both of our previous trips, when foul weather prevented the exact itinerary execution the guides had excellent back-up plans that helped make the most of the bad situation. The office trip planning and support staff are very good at helping you plan/pick the right trip for you.

We will keep working hard to earn your continued patronage. Looking forward to seeing you again in 2020!

Wilderness Travel has the best trips to the best places with the best available places to stay, the best food, the best cultural experiences, and the best guides. Most other guests on the trips are pretty good too.

We enjoyed our hiking trip in Montenegro. The guides were excellent - knowledgeable, helpful, and well-organized. The accommodations were good to great! The food and wine were locally sourced and added to the experience.

We did the Silk Road Trip by Golden Eagle train from Almaty to Moscow in April/May this year. It was a very unusual experience compared to what we were familiar with from Wilderness Travel. We got excellent support from WT during the sign-up and planning process. The trip management itself was entirely done by Golden Eagle staff and was absolutely outstanding. Everything on the train and all excursions during the stops were meticulously prepared and executed.
