Ordered a wig and it is backordered, didn't say that online.

I decided to give Wigs.com a second chance after my last order was backordered and I wasn't informed. The color I originally wanted was showing as out of stock when I placed the first order, but when I placed the second order, it was showing as available. 5 days after placing my second order, I received an email that the color was out of stock. When I called the company, the customer service rep I spoke with was very nice and polite. She mentioned a sale that happened recently (but after I placed my order) as a possible cause of the color being out of stock. When I mentioned that I placed my order before the sale, she tried to convince me that it takes more than 5 days for the inventory to be updated on the website and the item was probably out of stock when I placed my order. Any good inventory system should update stock levels automatically, and if the system in place isn't doing so, then it's time to invest in a new one. Wigs.com does not maintain accurate inventory on their website, and I'm beginning to believe they don't actually keep inventory at all. I think they are placing orders with the manufacturer as they come in to the site and then telling customers that the items are on backorder. I have worked in E-Commerce for 10+ years and have never encountered such shoddy inventory management, nor such an inaccurate website. I will taking my business elsewhere.

After watching many reviews and looking at photos of risk by Ellen wille I purchased this wig. Was very disappointed. Looks nothing like the pics. Very poufy. I could see the wefts thru the cap. I think the wig has permatease. I was under the impression there was no permatease in this wig. Also the lace front is awful. I ordered the espresso color and the knots in the lace front are so dark and visible. I’m truly disappointed with this risk wig. The customer service I received was lacking also. I was kept on hold for an extremely long time and when the girl came on the line she sounded as tho she had better things to do. I was under the impression they gave great customer service. I had many questions regarding choosing a wig that was right for me. The girl seemed to be reading from a script and I felt she wasn’t very knowledgeable about wigs at all. I did however receive my wig in a very timely manner. I was told it may take a few weeks because This wig was on backorder but I actually received it in about a week.

I never received my order. I called and you said it was back ordered and I would get it in October. Still haven’t received. Still no refund. Shameful.

I have alopecia universalis. I ordered a wig; found out after 2 weeks it was backorderd til Mid November. Changed color - still not here - been one month and counting. You people suck.

If I could give no stars I would Neither of the items matched my hair color, had to send back, the money I had to pay to send it back and the handling fee that’s charged was so not worth it! Never again!

I had to send back the hairpiece I ordered. The color was really artificial and it was not what I expected. Also when I mailed it to return it I paid for the return myself at the post office. When the return email arrived notifying me of the return I was charged $7.95 for postage. So I only received half of what I should have on a return to my credit card. I called the office but was not satisfied with the answer. I asked for a supervisor and was told they would have one call me. Still waiting! I will not do business with this company again! I ordered a wig & it was supposed to be delivered in 7 to 9 business days. That time passed & no wig. I had to contact you to find out the wig was on backorder. I canceled my order. I just hope I don't have problems with my credit card.
