The Whistle GPS is spectacular. My dog and I swim and hike with it frequently and it’s always capturing his location and exercise. Of course there are bounds, and if you’re outside of any possible realm of signal, it won’t connect (but will still track via pedometer type measurement for exercise distance and time). But Iosing a connection is rare. Also, the customer support team is AMAZING! My dog really puts his GPS through the ringer. If I ever have even the slightest problem, Whistle quickly replaces my product for FREE. They even did a discount exchange when they rolled out a new product, even though Ace had taken his device into the lagoon and sand and it had seen better days. They staff are kind via email and phone and I’ll be a long term customer because of it.
