The experience was good. Problem was the shipping. It said 2-3 days, but it's going to take 5. That's double and unacceptable. Nothing I can do about it now.

The only complaint i would have is thst it doesn’t stay charged long enough. Other then that we are very pleased with everything about the whistle.

Great product. Needs software tweak, to be able to track pet at-will.

I love our Whistle Go Active. I started out using the regular Whistle, but my swimmer constantly had it wet which led to problems. Customer Support was great in getting us a replacement. Ultimately, I moved up to the Whistle Go Active because it allows for more wet time and longer battery time. The more water proof and more battery time is needed. And as they continue to improve their products - this is the determiner for me.

I bought my first tracker for our hound about 8 months or so ago, and I'm still very happy with it. In fact, I bought another one for my collie. The battery is lasting me about a week. The software can be a bit glitchy at times, but I find if I wait a bit everything goes back to normal. For example, it might show some random day's info instead of the actual day's stats. But again, I just check it later and it's fine. Luckily I've never had to test the GPS on a lost dog. They are made really well. My dogs swim with them and wrestle. The little collie (50lbs) likes to drag the big one (100 lbs) around by the collar. I thought for sure she'd break his tracker, but nope, it's good.

I would give it 5 stars but unlike the past Whistle trackers that used Verizon, AT&T is not as good out here in the country. People with AT&T phones have a tough time at my house. If the dogs go out in the woods it is hit or miss but if they get near other houses or a road way it will pick them up quickly. I live on 93 acres with alot of acreage around my property. I love the additional information the tracker gives you on their activity level and many other aspects of their behavior. Hopefully AT&T will put up more towers out here east of Dallas, Texas.

The Whistle GO Explore has been very helpful. Sometimes the dogs get out of my sight and now I know what direction to go looking for them. Occasionally I get a false reading on their location (evidently because of my cell service) but overall I am grateful for this product and would recommend it. I farm and especially once crops are up I can lose sight of them in a field or wooded area.
