Worst retail brand ever!!! I'm stuck with their gift card which I can only!! Use in a standalone store or online. Birmingham hasn't got a standalone store so save your time spend a gift card in their concessions stores- they won't accept it. I measured my way to St. Alban's purposely to use my gift card- well when I use the gift card as payment the gift card was not working so I was not able to use it. So wasted my way from Birmingham to St Alban's. Buying online is not convenient as their sizes vary! I will never purchase from Whistles

I ordered this product through the Whistle website directly and really, really wish I hadn't. They give you the option to have the device delivered in 2 days via FedEx if you pay an extra $15. I was going on a trip with my dog so paid for that option because - I needed it in time for the trip. I then got an email confirming the device would be delivered a week later. When I said I'd paid them for the 2 day delivery in good faith, they said - yes - but as soon as it leaves our warehouse we're not responsible for how long it actually takes. So - they charge you for a service they clearly can't provide! My holiday was of course screwed bc I couldn't let the dog off and had no time to purchase anything elsewhere. And of course by the time I got back from the trip 10 days later, the package wasn't there. It had either been misdelivered or stolen in my absence. It's been a month now of my having to chase FedEx and Whistle to get a refund and so far, no dice. Customer Service states it's my responsibility to sort it out. So - don't be tempted to go direct - go anywhere but direct - I hate to say it but I've never had a problem with Amazon Prime Delivery or Chewy - they've both been amazing every time. These guys are cowboys and should be avoided at all costs.

I adopted two dogs from the same litter and each of them have a Whistle Go Explore. They are always together. I bought the Whistle because when I adopted them one of them ran away and was missing for 30 days before we caught her. I immediately bought two Whistle's and put one of the dog that did not run away. I leave the collars with the Whistle in the hall closet while they are in the house and put the collars on them when I take them for a walk because I work from home and they are always with me. When I need to leave them at home by themselves, I put them in a crate and don't want them to choke themselves so I leave the collar off. One of my Whistle's has a battery that drains much quicker than the other. I always charge them together overnight once or twice a week and by the time the first one gets low on battery the other still has a lot of battery left. Sometimes, one has 50% battery left and the other has 25%. That is a big difference if you are relying on the Whistle to help you find your dog and you need the battery to last. I only found out about the poor battery life because I had another Whistle to compare it to which was operating in identical circumstances. I feel sorry for most people who only have one Whistle because they wouldn't know whether their device worked well or not. I tried resolving the issue with customer service but they said there was nothing wrong with the Whistle and it must be my wifi. I don't see how it can be my wifi if 22 hours of the day the two devices are within inches of each other and 2 hours of the day they are within 10 feet of each other. They said it was normal for one battery to drain faster than another.

I have left multiple messages not one returned. It is impossible to reach you or anyone in support. The second tracker does not work and has almost costs the safety of my pet. If I don't hear from you, I am posting bad reviews everywhere I can find to do so. 843 718-7424

I lost my dog this weekend and this app did me no favors. It was more productive for me to drive around aimlessly calling my dog's name. Experience with the app: - Opened the app and it said, "Kobe is 500 feet from the house" but didn't say where. - The app was stuck "updating" for at least 20 minutes, by which time my dog could have been halfway across town. - I coincidentally/thankfully found my dog after driving through random parts of my neighborhood yelling his name and offering treats. - Even by the time I got home and gave my dog a bath, the app was still updating. Experience with customer service: - We called and expressed our frustration towards the service and asked if they could give us any sort of refund. All they said was, "Our hands are tied." Then asked to talk to a supervisor and they said the exact same thing. Very apathetic at best. We've been paying for this service for the last 1.5 years and when it finally came the time to use it, it didn't even work. So glad we've been paying for a device and service that doesn't actually do what it's supposed to do, not to mention a customer service team that couldn't care less. Overall, I just wouldn't use this service to rely on your pet's safety. It provides you with a false sense of security so if you're using this app, be sure to have other measures in place as well.

The first whistle I purchased the plastic broke on the collar within 3 months. In addition I had daily messages that my pet was out of the yard when she was in the yard. I purchased a new Whistle and a Whistle collar, the plastic on this one also broke after a couple of months and again gave daily false warning my pet was out of the yard. I now have Fi collars on my dogs , I never receive false messages that my dog is out of the yard. Clearly it is not my WI FI, or tress or the various other issues Whistle has blamed it on. I am finally able to relax about my dog escaping the yard, and because FI is metal it will not break, unlike the plastic Whistle.

4 broken trackers in 6 months. As other reviewer mentioned, Whistle trackers are simply not dog proof. Yesterday, my Whistle broke up again, and my dog got lost. I’m tired of keep receiving replacements, this will be the 4th one. Both ran out of battery in a few days too while connected to my Wi-Fi. No customer can imagine that Whistle could break after their 90 days warranty because of a design defect. It seems that Whistle doesn’t stand behind their product and I’m stuck with trackers that don't do their job- help me track my dogs. I spent almost 40 min with a customer service rep who clearly doesn’t care about my problem since his only solution was sending me a replacement. I asked if his manager could call me back to work something out, obviously...he never called back. They clearly know that this is a serious defect because as soon as you mention to them that the tracker fell off they say "broken lug". I’m very frustrated since we have invested in 2 trackers and collars that don't work. I'm asking for a refund for both trackers and the reminder of my yearly subscriptions. Of course, nobody at Whistle is available to answer you back.

When it works, it is good. But I've had six of them. They last a few weeks and the small plastic lugs that hold them to the collar break. If two break, it falls off. Customer service told me they cannot honor the warranty if the damage is caused by a dog. Well, then, what is the point? Ok product if you have one dog, but if you have two, it is a nightmare: just as soon as you need it, it is broken. Three times in the past five months customer service told me they would ship me replacements. I've received nothing. I give up.
