Difficult to checkout after rordering an item which was a new go pro collar that did not keep my younger dog's collar on so I ordered a new one hoping this does the trick. Have you ever considered programing the device so not only could you locate you dog but locate the tracker if it falls off. Luckily I found Zeke's.

I have had at least 7 or 8 whistles since the company started offering them. They have helped me locate my pups many times. The issue I have is that the new models break during normal use. I.e, dog rough housing with each other. The male end of the newer versions snaps and twists in to a collar attachment (female end). For some reason whistle Has made this piece smaller, less robust than the original whistle 3 and it breaks. Overall, though I would not be without one.

Good e-commerce experience. However, needed information was not readily available; in this case, learning how the service subscription was to be transfered from Whistle3 to the new WhistleGo. I found what I needed to know, but I had to dig it out of the website after the purchase. This information should have been presented or offered prior to purchase.

This device does what it says it does ..provides direction of dogs location and heath. my negative is .... I was surprised i had to pay a year in advance $79 for the AT&T ---(even monthly requires a 1 year contract. The site does say 90 days for return.

I would recommend this product with a few caveats. First, it's important to recognize the two main function, providing piece of mind as I know where he is most of the time and second, it assists me in tracking his activity for general health. Overall the functionality is good. The device has a few quirks. One, it uses the AT&T cellular network to track once you move outside the range of your home wireless. Problem is not all locations have a good connection to AT&T so the tracking can be spotty at times. Second, the geofence is not always accurate so sometimes I get an alert that my dog is home, but in reality he is down the street with me on a walk. I suspect this is a function of spotty AT&T service. One way to "fix" this issue is to offer the Whistle product on other networks like Verizon or TMobile. However, this should not stop you from purchasing unless you are in a complete AT&T deadzone. The software functions well although sometimes there is a bluetooth connection lage. You just need to recognize this and work around it. One of the special features is the light on the Whistle. I walk my dog at night and it is very bright and helpful. Overall, I would recommend this product but would love to see a Verizon Wireless model. Lastly, this is a tracker used to track location and activity. It is not a microchip. I recommend both. Mainly because if lost and tracking is not immediate, someone can remove the tracker. A microchip is permanent and if you keep the information up-to-date you have a good chance of getting you pet back.

Purchasing was easy. As far as the device functioning, it remains to be seen.

We’ve been pleased with both trackers for 18 months but feel like the collar should stay charged longer - esp since they are in WiFi so much.
