It works. Tracker is not made that well,though. I purchase the latest version in November 2019 and it was not usable by March 2020. If you have an active dog, this product is not for you. It is prone to breaking and falling off. When my dog's fell off, I was able to recover the device and saw where the part that clips into the collar had broken off. Whistle does not have much faith in its own product. It was made to last longer than the 90 day warranty after which time they want you to buy another one--too expensive. Warranty is inadequate. UPDATE: Original review was 2-star. Less than 2 hours after my post, I was contacted by Whistle. It appears Whistle has a 1 year warranty and is going to replace my Tracker. For that I give them a 5-star rating. Wow! People really read this stuff.

The Whistle is a great product. We love the exercise tracking feature. It helps motivate us to keep our pup moving. We realized after getting the Whistle that our pup wasn’t getting as much exercise as we thought. By watching the tracker it is a way to be accountable daily for how much we do. It’s very helpful. The health tracking feature is spot on. It picked up that our pup licks and scratches. Once again we had no idea how much. Now we have concrete figures to track his allergies and anxiety. We can also share these reports with vets, which is invaluable information. Overall, we are thrilled Whistle users and highly recommend the product.

The best tracker for your money. There is no question about it, Whistle offers much more than ANY other tracker on the market. Do what you will with that information.

Mid to late January, I adopted a seven year old German Shepard. All seemed fine for the first hour. Unfortunately, our baby was so scared, she had us on a four hour rescue. After she was home, I never wanted to go through that again. I wanted to make sure there was something linked to her at all times. I asked around and after receiving some various ideas, the Whistle app and details caught my attention. The reviews from others definitely helped me feel confident with my purchase. Since, I can say I have a peace of mind knowing my baby is being watched over. I totally recommend the Whistle.

Very happy with our purchase, we have a samoyed baby who's an escape artist, with a tracker on her really put peace in our mind. I also really like the exercise and licking report, our pup use to lick so much that her front leg turns red with the saliva stain, but now with more exercise and less cage time she's doing so much better, plus we could have a general idea of how much she licks with Whistle tracking. I hope they could make a smaller version for cats and add a beep function to help better locate the dog when she runs out.

Great staff always a positive experience

You can't put a price on the peace of mind I have now with Whistle. My GSP, Rocket is a runner (He can't help himself) and in the rare times he has gotten out, I am able to track him quickly and efficiently. Also, tracking his daily and weekly exercise is important to me. I can get an insight as to how he is doing and establish a pattern for a health, happy dog. I have another GSP and wanted to wait to see how the Whistle performed before buying another. Well, happy to say I love it... Now, I definitely will get another. Thanks Whistle!

I've been using Whistle for our Border Collie who loves to roam the wilds of suburbia at top speed when given the opportunity. While he hasn't gotten loose recently, I get notified every time to dog walker takes him out, and when they return home. I can track their movements throughout the week. When our dog hurt his leg the health reports from Whistle have been incredibly helpful. I didn't expect to use this much, but seeing his activity changes from day to day and week to week while he heals has been helpful in figuring out how much food to give him, and whether to get him more walks. I wish there were an option to have a cheap (or free) service that only provided health information. Our other dog never runs free, but I'd love the option to track her health info. The tracking isn't too expensive, but it would be nice to have one where I just buy the tracker. The quality is great, and it's lasted 2 months before we charged it. The app and service also continue to improve each month. I couldn't be happier.
