It was easy to order however the shipping terms were misleading. It was supposed to be 2-3 business days however my package is arriving in a week. I needed it for a specific trip this weekend. Therefore I will cancel my order and will buy it from Amazon which delivers in a day!

Hi Mustafa, I am sorry for the inconvenience with your Whistle tracker delayed delivery! I would like to confirm you that we do make sure devices are being delivered within 2 to 3 business days, however considering current Covid-9 situation we are facing some difficulty with our shipping vendor. Though we are constantly working with them to honor our timelines but for some locations it's getting delayed. I would like to mention that devices purchased from Whistle.com comes with 90 days trial period and if you don't like the device, you are always welcome to return device and take a full refund, this is great option available with Whistle. If you should ever need any assistance with your device please do not hesitate to contact our support team at: 1-855-999-0471 Mon-Fri 7:00 AM-4:00 PM PST Sat-Sun 7:00 AM-3:30 PM PST.

I purchased a Whistle for our dog a little over 2 years ago. We had difficulty with the first tracker. It had extreme difficulty in locating her and they sent us a replacement. They neglect to tell you that the device does not track in real time like GPS but rather there is a lag of up to several minutes until it locates your dog using ATT cellular network. It also cannot track your dog unless there is cellular service! My dog comes to work with me daily and we are halfway to work, about 5 miles away, when the tracker finally alerts that she left home. The two year old tracker we had they stopped making parts for. The mount that goes on the collar eventually stretched out and fell off of the dog on more than one occasion. The company sent a new type mounting clip for the device but sometimes the device didn't click on the collar and would pop off. While on a hike the other day, our dog ran through a cornfield and the tracker popped off. After spending more than an hour looking for the device we called it quits. The app said we were right on top of it but between the three of us we never found it. I got in touch with customer service and the only thing they could offer me was 25% off on a new device. I had just renewed our subscription and probably just should have canceled it. We will see how well this new tracker does, apparently I have 90 days to test drive it. Hopefully a better mounting design than the first if not, then it is going back. A tracking device should stay on the dog. By the way, the old Whistle tracker is still locating my dog in the cornfield. :/

Hi Ann, I am so sorry for your experience when looking for your Whislte tracker. All of our trackers including the Whistle Go series of trackers need reliable AT&T coverage to work properly, 3G for Whistle 3, and LTE-M for the Whistle Go series of tracker. Generally lost devices are not covered in the warranty. But, I can surely forward your feedback regarding the snap attachments to the concerned department. We value your comments and feedback as we are always looking for ways to improve our products and services. Our goal is to make your experience better, so thank you again for letting us know what we can do to make that happen. If you should ever need any assistance please do not hesitate to contact our support team at: 1-855-999-0471 Mon-Fri 7:00 AM-4:00 PM PST Sat-Sun 7:00 AM-3:30 PM PST.

online live chat and/or email contact did not work. I made several attempts and was never contacted until I used an old email thread to reach customer service. Also, not happy with the battery life of the Whistle 3. Just had to replace it after only 2 years.

While the site was mostly easy to navigate, there was no information regarding the fact that the item I ordered has been changed and no longer fits the whistle that I have. Because of this, my Whistle is still not useable, and I have to wait for Customer Service to contact me to (hopefully) resolve an issue that could have been avoided had there been more clear information on the site.

We bought the Whistle after reviewing many other GPS options for our Golden Retriever. After reading many reviews, we felt this was a good option. We live on 1 acre property which is not fenced in. So for the dogs safety and our peace of mind, we wanted her to have a tracking device. A few items to note/nuances: 1. I got a lot of false notifications that the dog had left my hard. I reached out to customer service, I was told my designated safe area was 'too small'. 1 acre of property was too small? 2. Make sure you sleep with your ringer off on your cell phone/device if you have it set for notifications. I get endless amounts of texts from the device that in the middle of the night, when she is sleeping next to me in bed that she is 'away from our house'. 3. The battery life and indicator is wonky sometimes. One minute the app will say the battery life is at 90% and then 3 hours later it would be at 10%. There was a software update to fix this bug - and i do think it got better. The best part of the device is the activity tracker to log the amount of exercise and activity your dog/animals gets on a daily basis. That's about the best feature of this particular device, which is why i'm giving it a 2 star. Ultimately, the performance of the device fails regularly. And, just to put icing on the cake, after 1 year and 4 months, the $150 device plus service plan and it no longer works. Upon contacting customer service, Whistle said it was my problem because there is only a 1 year warranty. And they would offer me a slight discount to purchase a new device. In my opinion, poor customer service. There is a reason there is only 1 year limited warranty because likely it will only last you about that period of time.

I’m new to the whistle family but as of right now I’m not a big fan of them. We live in the country and of course cell service isn’t that well. We can’t keep an accurate pin point on my 2 pets bc of the cell service here... I was very excited about this product for both of my run aways but cell service sucks!!! I wish it was something we could just get through your own cell service provider bc only Verizon works where we are unless you have a government phone and even then it’s a big ?? I know bc me & my husband worked for the local sheriffs office and even with AT&T we only had 2 maybe 3 bars so we had to use text before calling to make sure we was somewhere to answer the phone. What can we do to help with the service?? Thinking about just returning our products bc it’s not worth the money if we can’t use the service.

Hello Stephanie, Thank you for taking the time to take our Customer Support survey. We appreciate all the feedback and suggestions we get from our customers and we want to do everything we can to improve your experience. I'm sorry to hear you've been having issues due to the cell coverage in your area. The Whistle GO and GO Explore do require AT&T coverage in order to be able to track and locate your pet reliably. That being said, we do have a 90 days period for customers to try the device out, and if for any reason they don't like it, they can return it for a refund within the first 90 days, just as long as it's not physically damaged. If you'd like to provide me with the email address that your Whistle account is under, I could take a look into your account and see if there is anything else we can do to have the device work a bit better for you. If the coverage is very limited though, I'd really not recommend using the device, because it may not be reliable when you need it most.
