Dishonest behaviour: they have been pulling 95,40 USD every year for 4 years from my card, despite I gave the device back a couple weeks after reception (Dec 2019), due to poor performance. Customer service forced us to download the app in order to cancel subscription but didn't give our money back. A subscription related only to a device that has been given back? There is no service without the device: what did I pay for? This is not honest! Stay away from this company!

Don't buy this collar. Not user friendly. I never actually used the collars and forgot I had signed up for a multi year subscription. Yes that is an additional cost. Thank goodness my card on file needed to be upgraded so they reached out via email. I responded no to the new subscription especially since I live in Spain where the App doesn't even work. I requested Whistle terminate my subscription immediately and send proof that it has been done and that my personal data has been removed from their databases. Ironically they have frozen my account where I wouldn't be able to access even if I wanted. Horrible customer support, no sense of urgency.

Maybe the product is good but the support is TERRIBLE. Don’t purchase this product. We had the product for six months and it worked well at the beginning. For no reason it’s no longer connecting to Wi-Fi. The battery drains in less than a day. There’s no way to get any support. You cannot speak with anyone without leaving a message, and they may or may not call or email for days. When I finally spoke with someone I said they must have employee shortages, but they said it’s because of “changes in the way they do things” and did not elaborate. I tried to escalate to a manager who wanted me to check router settings on my system. I’ve done everything asked as well as I could and requested a replacement. There’s no response from anyone. If you need any support you cannot get it. Do not purchase this product.

Have been a customer for over 9 years. Was forced to buy a new device when 3G was no longer available. I have had this new device for just barely over a year. It is no longer transmitting text messages to me when the dog leaves the home. Whistle says 1 year warranty and won't replace it because it has been just over a year and is out of warranty. After 9 years of being their customer and the device being a piece of junk, I will buy a new device with a different company. DO NOT BUY A WHISTLE !

We enjoyed using this product but it stopped working after 6 months. We spoke in detail with customer service who sent us an email that a replacement was on it's way. When it never showed up we called, again, and they said the email was sent in error and they would not sending a replacement and could we AGAIN explain the issue??? We decided to just order a new one and paid for 2-day shipping only to receive notification that we wouldn't receive for 5 days! Horrible customer service.

Ever since Whistle updated their software about 2 months ago, the tracking ability is basically non existent. It used to work great. Now, the GPS can not locate the dog. The path never updates until the dog comes back into the safe zone. Totally useless. We tried everything they say to do to correct the problem. Reload the app. Reboot the phone. Reboot the whistle device. Nothing fixes the problem. It will give one location spot when the dog first leaves the area and then, when you push the Find My Pet button, the GPS dial just spins and spins and there are no other updates after that. Before the software was changed the updates came in every 15 secs. We still live in the same place and the cell phone service is exactly the same. Bad software now. Canceling and trying something else. So stupid.

I bought 2 devices in Jan 2021. Didn’t start using until Jan 2022. A few days ago, I realized my pup had lost her device. Using the app I found the Whistle, but not the collar connector, which must have broken. It’s the Only way for it to come off unintentionally. This was over the weekend - I bought a new one online, paid for expedited shipment. And guess what. They can’t tell me when I will get the piece - “hopefully this weekend” So here is the issue. In 4 days I am moving 3000 miles. I want the tracker for the trip. Whistle can’t send a new collar mount next day to me, they can’t guarantee the piece will arrive before I move and basically I am out of luck. I’m disappointed in their customer service policies (the reps I spoke to were great but company policy dictates what they can do). Clearly there is a design flaw - there is no way that price should have broken. Oh and yes - the one tracker that I had stopped holding a charge before I ever used it and Whistle again said they couldn’t help me This is not how you treat a customer. I’m not looking for anything free. But you have lost a customer- and be assured I will tell everyone I know about my experience

We have been Whistle customers for years and Tagg before that. Always let us know when our dog left the safe area. Now our dog is getting out and we get no notification. It seems if we go miles away, it will track. That does us no good, as she leaves within miles, but has busy street to cross. We have tried everything to fix this. Whistle blames our internet service.
