Love it! Works really great... there have been some issues getting connected to WiFi, but it works eventually.

The good: The system works very well and appreciate getting updates on their activity and the system will let you know when the dog leaves the gps boundary. In fact, the system will send you text messages when you leave with the dogs in the car on a trip. The bad: However, the units do have a consistent pattern of stopping working and they have to be replaced. Sometimes they stop working under warranty, sometimes not. I have not been able to get an explanation of why the units stop working. Apart from the reliability issue, these units are very prone to a dog getting the units off and chewing the GPS unit. I have two dogs the same age and they have been able to the units off and chew them. Once this happens, you have to replace the unit. They do not have a extended warranty which you can purchase nor do they offer a discount for replacing a chewed unit. Whistle really needs to offer a metal case version. I would gladly pay more for an aluminum or titantium case if they would offer it.

My customer service call was great. I went into support on line and didn't find my issue, then went into chat and no one picked up. Then I called and got help.

I get a lot of use with the whistle. I have a 7 year old boxer that loves to be outside all of the time so it’s good to know that she’s safe My biggest issue is that it does not alert me quick enough when she is out of the safe zone. I want to know instantly but I don’t get an alert for several minutes or more. I’m hoping that maybe they will eventually work with other net works other than at&t. In my area I don’t get the best service from them. If my alerts about my dog were instant I’d be giving this device 5 stars.

Make it easier to enter discount code. The place to enter code doesn’t come up right away. I almost paid full price by accident. You have to actually review the order before entering payment info.
