WhistleReviews of whistle.com

This rating is for the online shop, not the Whistle device. I like the device. I hate the shop. In trying to buy accessories I can’t see any documentation or product specifications or alternative images or dimensions. Tell me what I’m buying. Give me more information than you think I need.

Do not buy Unreliable Does not work as advertised Awful customer support

Overall I have not had a single good experience with any Whistle products. 1) I placed an order for the Whistle 3 as they had a sale on it. I bought 2 at the same time but i got a notification that they would be arriving on different days (almost 4 days apart). I emailed customer service, they were slow to respond and said there was nothing they could do because I ordered it over the weekend. They did arrive at the same time, but later than expected. 2) One of the 'straps' came in didn't work. 3) I ordered two of the collars, the way the website reads is 'twist and go collars', then goes on to say for the whistle go.... Somewhat misleading, but I bought them for my Whistle 3, ordered expedite shipping and they still arrived late AND they don't fit the Whistle 3.... So not I have 2 collars that are worthless, one whistle 3 that doesn't have a functioning strap to put it on, and a years subscription to a service that I haven't been able to use yet. OH and they app told me the area I set for my dog's 'safe spot' is to small... so the app think's my property is to small and maybe I should buy all the houses around me. Overall very dissatisfied so far.

Good product. The lowest form of customer and technical service. The worst customer service I have experienced. Be warned.

The following is a reply written to an email sent to me by Whistle after I filled out a survey from them. In the 4 months of owning this system, we have had more false reports than you could believe. This is just the latest in a long series. The survey was sent after we contacted Whistle concerning the battery life and false reports/alarms of our dog not being home. Their answer was there is current software glitch they are working to correct; however, these reports have been occurring since we purchased the product. "Your system is ridiculous. This morning, at 1:34 am, while we were at home asleep, we received text messages that Zoie was 42 miles from home, although she was asleep under our bed. Just 4 minutes ago, we received texts stating that she was now at home. This is not a simple error! Obviously, you have major issues with your system. How can we use or trust Whistle? We will rate this on Google. We most likely will stop using it and cancel our subscription, unless your company comes up with a viable solution that actually can be trusted. As of now, though, we feel that we have been wasting our money.

I wish the whistle sensor was more low profile. I my dogs are playful and like to bite each others necks. I have replace one if my dogs sensors 4 time cause the other bites it and chews it off.

Very dissatisfied with my experience in ordering a replacement. Emailed Whistle this morning letting them know I had yet to receive email with shipping information. I did receive a delivery email. I hope my order is on my porch when I get home.

Can't even get a technical drawing of how the whistle attached to collar-- since their POS snap on attachment broke the FIRST DAY!
