no info on the long term life of the battery, is it replaceable? no details of the 90 day money back guaranty, does it cover the subscription?

I could not find a phone number and wanted to talk someone to understand the differences and ensure I am getting the best item for my dog and cat.

I just wanted a replacement collar holder, but the site was VERY slow, and the description of the item could be better. I think I ordered what I need, but it wasn't overly clear. Also, still have not received an email order confirmation - but I got this review email very quickly.

very frustrating to buy whistle 3 and hard to find a collar to attach the device

Had to buy whistle 3 because whistle 2 will not hold charge after 2 years. Also no longer able to buy whistle 2 collar attachments. Hope whistle 3 is better and lasts longer.

I have never lost my dog, but I trigger the Whistle from time to time to make sure it's working. It takes up to several minutes to get a location. I wish it were faster, but I kind of understand the technology and why they have to do it this way to save battery and cellular data costs. The location accuracy isn't nearly as good as the GPS in your cell phone. The Whistle's location will generally be 10-30 feet off, occasionally far more. This is certainly better than nothing, but you can't trust it to get you to the exact backyard or field where the dog is hiding. But the real missing feature would be a way to page the device; to trigger it from your phone to start beeping or playing a tune like the Tile device. I understand that this paging would take several minutes to start for the same reason that it takes several minutes to get a location on the map. But having the device play sounds would help find the dog once you get close. I wish it were smaller because I have a 14 lb. dog and it's way too big for her collar. I attached it to her harness instead and it works pretty well there.

Hit and miss love that it keeps track of my escape artist but lately its been very glitchy, I get updates at random hrs of the day (2am) that the dog had lft the whistle zone only to find him sleeping on the couch. Also at times it won't charge or tell us battery is low to fast. I used to stay charged for full week Pls fix, thanks.
