WhistleReviews of whistle.com

Great product, works well and location pinpointing is accurate within few feet. The only downside is that it seems that they last for a little longer than a year, then they stop working and need to be replaced while already out of warranty. Earlier models lasted much longer.

I like the product as it gives me piece of mind when my girls are outside.

Selection is limited as to colors, collars, and accessories. Besides that, effective way to check out. If rating by stars, then 4 stars.

I love all the information but the learn more buttons don’t work after I sign in to my account

I’ve had several Whistle products over the years and have to say the newest version is the best! I did have to modify my dogs collar to get the brackets to fit. They are 1” collars made of a vinyl/rubber type material so I just grinded down the thickness a bit. That’s the only reason 4 stars instead of 5.

my last whistle had to be replaced twice. I am hoping the upgrades on this one and the longer battery life will be the improvements I need to make the product perfect. I do NOT mind paying more for longer batter life and a unit that is more durable.

Communicated twice via live chat. Both times the wait was a bit long. During the first chat, the rep said I would receive an email with a discount link. Email was not received. Second chat resulted in the link being provide during the session and I was able to place order with the discount coupon.

I had a hiccup at the beginning where I ordered a device and then canceled that order. I canceled because they were out of stock of the item and I needed it for a trip. I ordered another item (that I was told was in stock and could be shipped by the end of the week) and there was some confusion. Upon trying to figure out what was going on with the order and all some customer services reps were not on the same page which caused confusion to where my new order was. After speaking with 1 customer service rep we were able to figure out the confusion. the whole process took little over two weeks before I finally got the product. The reduction from 5 stars is merely because the customer service needs to be on the same page with each other and with those in charge of shipping and stock of items. Additionally, the chat function is great and all it just seems to take a while to get information or to get confirmation to cancel orders. The chat function also transcribes all chat so if you have an issue you have the representative's name and what was said. As for the product. It is really cool. It has a sleek design and works just as advertised. you do need wifi to set up the device, which was difficult being away from home. If I could make a suggestion that would be have options when the pet is in the safe area only notify when they are x feet away. My dog is still in the safe area but due to all gps not being perfect yet it shows my dog still in the safe area but anywhere from 30-100 feet away from "home". this causes a whole bunch of notifications stating that your pet is x feet away from home; even tho they are still in a safe area. I really appreciate that they were able to negotiate a month by month payment method for the At&t subscription so that my bank account doesn't need to take a hit once a year and I can accurately assess my monthly/yearly spending. As for the app i really enjoy it. it is easy to use but I am lost on some functions. granted I am not the best with technology but, if there was a tutorial/video to explain all the functions that would be perfect. (there may be a video I just haven't been able to find one yet) overall the product is great. I just warn you before buying call and ask all of your questions.
