Ive been a customer for over 10 years.Years ago, (before Tagg became whistle), the service and device were excellent. I recommended to all my friends and acquaintances without reservation. When the whistle 3 came out the device and service were not as good. I've had more issues with whistle 3 devices than I ever did with the prior devices. Hopefully these issues have been resolved with the newest iteration of the Whistle device, (Go and Go Explore). I just ordered 2 Go Explore's because one of my whistle devices is malfunctioning but I wanted both dogs to be on the same device.

The good: The device works as expected most of the time and the customer service is EXCELLENT! The Bad: Our devices have needed to be replaced multiple times because they stop working. The clips that secure the device to the collar break often and if it wasn't a GPS device, the Whistle would have been lost multiple times. Occasionally the app doesn't update well when I want activity information. Finally... the battery life is terrible especially as the device gets older (6+ months).

Instructions on web site could be stated a little better, had to go to chat and get some help, which he did a good job,

price of replacement collar attached is not as listed. it cost just as much to ship it.

I tried to find a number for customer support so that I could talk with a real person and was unable to do so. I tried live chat but did not get a response, so the only communication I was able to establish was via email. Ultimately, I was unable to resolve exactly why the device is not working so am returning for a refund.

Whistle works well but the piece of rubber that holds the device to the collar is poorly designed. It can easily be chewed off by the pet or another pet. Needs to be a solid piece like the fit 3. Also the small piece of rubber that protects the charge cord also is easily chewed off. Suggest that wireless charging would be a better way of charging device. Also they do not sell replacement parts which is really poor.
