WhisperKOOLReviews of whisperkool.com

The unit was shipped with wires plugged into the wrong locations on the circuit board. WhisperKool reps were extremely hard to get a hold of, and although pleasant at times, offered zero solutions. Even made us pay for a new display wire because they said it was our fault when it was the manufacturers fault. Once the unit became functional, after spending $1,000+ for a local expert to figure out the issue, the drain line pump failed to work and leaked massive amounts of water on our new hard wood floors without ever shutting off. I never write reviews, although I read them often. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM WHISPERKOOL. YOU WILL CETAINLY REGRET IT

Ok I will. I bought a Whisperkool ceiling mounted unit. I bought it in July 2014. This was a newly constructed wine room along with a remodel. Added 1400’. Couldn’t complete and put the wine in the wine room until April of 2016 when add-on was completed. Did not get an installation kit for the unit. Caused a big problem. Then 2 1//2 years later the compressor went out. Only 2 yr. warranty according to Whisperkool. The paperwork says 5 years. Something is terribly wrong. Whisperkool changed the compressor units to a different supplier because I was told many of the compressors were going bad. Very disappointing. Never would use Whisperkool in another wine room. Hopefully restaurants will see this report. Also, you have no one in the Orange County area or even LA county to service these Whisperkool units. Very frustrating. I got names and references and none of them would/could service or even replace the compressor/condenser.

Unable to use the one I purchased, they changed me 25% just to return it! Almost $700.00 just to give it back!

Your rep recommended a unit after he understood the size of the cellar on the phone that was the extreme 5000 while by email previously he recommended the 8000 without understanding what we were doing. So he corrected this, I bought the unit, and it is not working. He refused for us to send the unit back which is unethical and unacceptable.

So far two HVAC companies have failed to get the unit working properly. Both companies called customer service for assistance in troubleshooting, but the issue is still unresolved. On the last customer service call 6 days ago they stated that an engineer would call back, but they have not yet called back.
