Hard to reach them by phone
Hard to reach them by phone, but once I did they were super helpful. Unit works beautifully.

forgot to mention
The replacement unit works well and was delivered on time. The missing information was the change in the model. I ordered the same model but it is different. The previous unit that failed had a drain option either front or back. Now the drain is only on the exhaust side necessitating a hole to be drilled through the wall to connect to where it drained on the cooling side. So that was not mentioned when I ordered it and perhaps should have been mentioned.

An outstanding Experience
Very good discussion with staff as to the likely issues with the 14 year old unit and repair/replace options. I chose to replace the old unit and had an outstanding experience with the service technician who replaced the unit and spent time pointing out operational highlights and the importance of periodic air filter cleaning. Strongly recommend dealing with the factory people as opposed to trying to work with the local representative who basically was not interested in doing the servicing/replacement work.

Replacing a previous model
Replacing a previous model. Size is different and required a great deal of work to prepare the opening.

replaced my WhisperKool 4200 with Extreme 5000 Ti
replaced my WhisperKool 4200 with WhisperKool Extreme 5000Ti, Black Rev2, WK 115v due to icing issues with original unit. After 24 hrs operation the unit already is maintaining 55. The replacement was straightforward and the new larger unit easily fit snugly into the already prepared space. These units are by no means inexpensive - and I did not care to find out about the freight charge until actually placing the order.

Took forever to order
Took forever to order. Temp varies from 54 to 56 not sure why as the others that I had always stayed on 55. Great engineering.
