Very disappointing experience with Wheego/DRYYVE at Vienna Airport. I have been trying to resolve disputed charges with Wheego for more than three months and still have no satisfactory resolution. I was charged €249.17 for crossing the border, even though I travelled only to Slovakia and Wheego’s published information shows a €99 fee for Slovakia. I also had a €125 senior-driver charge that I did not understand from my Expedia booking. More recently, €198 was charged to my Mastercard, but I still have not received a clear explanation of exactly what this charge was for. I contacted Wheego/DRYYVE numerous times by email and also contacted Expedia several times. Expedia apologized but explained that Wheego is a third-party rental company and that its ability to resolve the charges is limited. After more than three months with no satisfactory resolution, My experience has been very frustrating, particularly because of the lack of clear communication about the charges. I recommend that anyone renting from Wheego carefully check every fee before signing and keep copies of all documents.

Avoid using this car rental company! We rented a car in July 2026 and when we returned it they said that there was a very minor scratch - on a car with already many scratches! We took a picture but had to leave because of our flight. Although they promised to send an email so we could appeal their accusation with the help of our insurance company, they never sent one. Even after several phone calls no mail arrived and they kept the deposit. The insurance company needed a damage invoice from Wheego but that was that. Horrible way to treat your customers! Just after the money!

I normally look at reviews before booking a car when on holiday. Unfortunately I didn't this time, I won't do that again. Do not touch these people with a barge pole. Even though we had our own annual excess insurance policy they forced us to purchase additional insurance as they would not accept any of our 3 credit cards or even take the 900euro security deposit with our debit card. Unfortunately we had a 8-9hr drive and could not walk away. Go elsewhere.

Noleggio dal 11 al 14 Settembre. nessun problema e giudizio positivo. Peccato che il 18 settembre alle 13 mi sia arrivata la richiesta di autorizzazione per quasi 1900 Eur e un'ulteriore richiesta per il deposito di 1200 Eur relativi, evidentemente, al contratto di noleggio di un'altra persona, essendo io a 1300 km da Palermo (uff. di Cinisi). Al telefono si sono scusati promettendo una soluzione. Certo è che dal 18 pomeriggio risultano irreperibili avendo provato a chiamarli con 3 numeri diversi. Ho bloccato la carta, segnalato l'accaduto alla società che ha emesso la carta per aprire una contestazione all'esercente e inviato una PEC alla società, una srl con sede Roma. Attenzione !

Absolutely the worst! Holding onto my deposit of 900 euros and still not returned, no scratches, no damage whatsoever, fuel left exactly what was provided, I have reached out to them repeatedly and yet no reprove, they are using criminal tactics and looking at other reviews I am not sure how I managed to not read these reviews, AVOID.

ABZOCKE! Karte wird nicht akzeptiert nur mit Versicherung die mehr kostet als die Miete. Fahrzeug nicht fertig und nicht sauber. Fahrzeug soll vollgetankt übergeben worden sein hat aber sei letztem Refill 40km.

Fahrzeug ausgeliehen für 5 Tage. Kilometerstand ca. 4500. Im Übergabeprotokol, was man nicht zu sehen bekommt, steht ca. 1000. Im Übergabeprotokol steht auch Vollgetankt, aber es waren nur 3 von 6 Strichen sichtbar mit einer Restkilometerangabe von 350. Ich habe das Fahrzeug mit Restkilometer ca. 480 zurück gegeben , bin ganze 500 Kilometer gefahren und habe das Fahrzeug aussaugen lassen und waschen lassen. Trotzdem hat man mir 500 € von der Kaution abgezogen. Keine Mitteilung nichts. Ein Mädchen hat das Fahrzeug zurückgenommen und es war komplett überfordert. Es standen noch ca 5 Autos vor mir, die sie fertig für die Vermietung machen musste. Übergabeprotokoll gibt es später online. Nie bekommen. Für mich ist das Betrug am Kunden

I rented a car from them in Alicante in March 2026. Left a deposit of 900EUR. I left the car back 1 week later and the guy told me that it was damaged. To be honest i didnt have time to closely inspect. They claimed an alloy was destroyed. Clearly it had a small new scratch, along with all the other scratches already. they kept my 900EUR. I pursued this with my insurance company ( thats another story ( but got resolution). The insurance company needed a damage invoice from Wheego stating that the work had been done. Wheego did not even reply to my e-mails. clearly not 1 EUR worth of work was done and they just pocketed the cash. Absolutely disgraceful business practices.
