Extremely disappointing experience with Wheego in Tirana, Albania. We arrived with a confirmed reservation and a valid physical BBVA credit card in the name of the main driver, fully capable of covering the security deposit. The rental office refused to release the vehicle because the card did not have the card number printed on the surface. This is a modern bank-issued credit card from a major European bank and is perfectly valid for payment and pre-authorisation purposes. We asked the staff to attempt the deposit pre-authorisation, but they refused to proceed. We also requested clarification regarding the specific rental condition that our card allegedly did not meet, but no satisfactory explanation was provided. As a result, we lost a significant amount of time, had to cancel the reservation, and were forced to find another rental company at the last minute. Fortunately, another rental company accepted the same type of credit card without any issue, confirming that the problem was not the card itself. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company. The handling of the situation was inflexible, unhelpful, and caused unnecessary stress and disruption to our trip.

Belazeren de boel. Bij ophalen accepteren ze alleen creditcards met volledige voornaam. Dat kan niet bij ICS cards, te weten Mastercard en Visa. Wel bij Amex maar die accepteren ze niet. Uiteraard wel op te lossen door een belachelijk dure verzekering af te sluiten. Kortom nogmaals alles nagevraagd en uit laten zoeken door ICS. Conclusie het kan niet en is alleen bedoeld om de extra verzekering te verkopen.

Omdat wij ( volgens de medewerkster ) een goedkope huurdeal hadden, kregen wij een auto helemaal onder de deuken ( beschadegingen ).Waar wij natuurlijk niet mee akkoord gingen.Ook staat er in de voorwaarden vol voor leeg?Dat betekent dat we een groot bedrag voor de volle tank moesten betalen en nog eens een bedrag voor de door de medewerker gedane tank vullen. ( +/- € 50,00 )Dus je bent verplicht je tank leeg te rijden want je krijgt niets retour.Dit heb ik nog nooit meegemaakt. Toen ik hier iets van zei tegen de medewerkster, zei deze dat dit bij hun normaal was. Beste Huurder: Huur niet bij Wheego ( ook niet via Doyou Spain (tussenpersoon )want zij proberen zzveel mogelijk geld uit je zak te kloppen.

If something seems too good to be true it usually is. This company is a scam and should be ashamed of itself. When we went to pick up the car from their Málaga depot they put add ons that there was no mention of when booking online, to the tune of about £180. When we went to check the car there were a number of dints and scratches to the car so it was to know what was included in the check sheet. On return of the car the guy who checked the car said he found another scratch. Upon trying to argue our case that there was loads of scratches on the car when we picked it up, but he would not have it and started getting hostile and started threatening to call the police knowing we had a flight to catch to get back home. Meaning they were blackmailing us to pay now or they call the police and we would miss our flight. I would urge anyone else who has been scammed by this company to contact there trading standards department so these complaints can be logged and the company dealt with.

Moja karta kredytowa nie została przyjęta, mimo iż jest przyjmowana w innych wypożyczalniach bez żadnego problemu. Zostałam zmuszona do zapłacenia dodatkowego ubezpieczenia, mimo iż pełne ubezpieczenie miałam wykupione w chwili rezerwacji auta. Oszuści i tyle. Nie polecam. Gdyby nie to, że zostałam podstawiona pod ścianą (przylot z zagranicy z dwójką małych dzieci), to wzięłabym pociąg i pojechała jak najdalej od nich. Finał je wynajem auta z fotelikiem, ubezpieczeniem i dodatkowym kierowca wyszedł nas ponad 1000 zł drożej! Ponadto, samochód nie został wydany o czasie ponieważ 'nie został zwrócony przez poprzedniego wynajmującego' i czekaliśmy godzinę na rozwiązanie tego problemu, natomiast żadnej rekompensaty ze strony firmy nie było. Nigdy więcej, dzięki nim zaraziłam się już zupełnie do wypożyczania aut w Polsce.

Wir haben über Billiger Mietwagen einen Wagen für den Flughafen Mallaga gebucht. Auto Europe gab uns nach der Buchung bekannt, dass vor Ort die Fa. wheego als örtlicher Partner den Mietwagen zur Verfügung stellt. Am 09.06.26, 15.00 Uhr wollten wir den gebuchten Mietwagen bei Wheego abholen. Am Schalter erklärte uns der Mitarbeiter Hector Sambrana in äußerst herablassender Art, dass unsere VISA-Kreditkarte nicht für die Kaution genutzt werden könne, da diese von der DKB ausgestellt wurde und somit eine Online-Bank darstelle. Wir könnten aber vor Ort eine Art Komplettversicherung abschließen für 329,75€. Daraufhin haben wir telefonisch Kontakt mit Billiger Mietwagen und Autoeurope aufgenommen, in eine Klärung herbeizuführen, leider ohne Erfolg. Der Servicemitarbeiter von Autoeurope erklärte uns lapidar, dass wir eben von keiner renommierten Bank eine VISA-Karte vorgelegt haben und berief sich auf die AGB‘s. Es handelt sich weder um eine Debitkarte noch um eine virtuelle Kreditkarte! Ein Ausschluss von Onlinebanken ist definitiv nicht in den AGB‘s zu finden. Wir empfinden das als absolute Frechheit, es wurde nicht einmal der Versuch unternommen, eine Klärung herbeizuführen. Als ich den Namen des Mitarbeiters von Autoeurope erfragen wollte, um mich zu beschweren, legte er auf! Da ich diese Abzocke vor Ort auf keinen Fall zustimmen wollten, haben wir gegen 17.00 Uhr ohne Mietwagen die Station verlassen. Wir werden sowohl bei AutoEurope noch bei Wheego jemals wieder einen Mietwagen buchen. Wir können vor beiden Firmen nur eindringlich warnen!!!

I booked a car via Car Jet for one week paid in full. When I go to collect a car i was informed by staff they haven’t got my reservation after making a phone call and half an hour waiting i was informed that my reservation was cancelled because i came to late instead 10am i was 11.45am and car was rented to someone else.I my opinion even i come late car been paid in full for a week and should be for my disposition any time.On the and i have to use different car rental and coast me extra stress and money.Wheego is a worse car rental in planet.

If I could rate them with 0 as the worst worst worst service I would. They charges us for a damage we never did 2.000€, which was exactly the amount they told us we will pay if anything happens, if we don’t buy their insurance!!!
