I needed a $10 part. I used the online chat to find the shipping and handling cost, since I couldn't get the info without submitting the order. I was told to go to UPS for the shipping estimate. It was $13. My invoice included $30 for shipping. Ridiculous! UPDATE - A company representative followed up, and credited the difference in shipping and handling. Their follow-up is appreciated.
MARTA
This survey came to MARTA but was addressed to The Chattanoogan Hotel. As for the service provided to MARTA, the repairs were completed satisfactorily, except that 1. Whaley Foodservice could not give me a scheduled date/time for the service. 2. I received no advanced notification of the repair technician's arrival to evaluate the machine. 3. The time between evaluation and repair was far too long and too expensive - purchasing a new brewer would have been more cost effective and timely.. 4. I received no advanced notification of the repair technician's arrival to complete the repair. Whaley Foodservice should, based on the equipment model, be able to inform the customer on the availability of pares and provide the customer with a time-frame for the repair.

COME TO PARTS DESK TO ORDER MORE PARTS AND WE ARE TOLD TO CALL UPSTAIRS TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE IN PARTS. THIS IS WHERE THE WRONG PARTS ARE ORDERED. IF WE CAN SEE THE SCREEN AT THE PARTS DESK, THIS CAN BE AVOIDED.

Needed a thermostat for a steam table. 1 tech came and said the part would be here in a few days. Nothing happened for 3 weeks when a 2nd tech came and said they got the wrong part #. 3 more weeks went by and I called the receptionist. She said the part would be in the next day and they would be right up to repair. Another week went by and I called back, she told me they couldn't get the part, but were trying. Finally a 3rd tech came with the part and fixed it. it only took 2 months.
