The review below that the people described about holding payments hostage and requiring all types of information and not being clear on it is the same position we are in. Never in my life have I dealt with a professional company that makes it this impossible to get support. Don’t bother calling them. Every extension you press just points you to their website then goes back to main menu. All I picture is that we pay is a guy in his moms basement running a website...no support. Take your business elsewhere!

Tried using the service for the first time in 12/2019. We thought it would simplify accepting payments. Instead, when our client tried to pay us, WePay held the funds hostage and demanded that we provide all kinds of information about our company. We had already signed up and provided everything that was required when we created our online account, but now they were requiring that we provide all of our business documents, a full description of the services we were performing for our client, our clients address, a copy of the invoice outlining the breakdown of the payment, a copy of our licenses (no license for what we do). I answered their questions and they came back with more questions, and then after a week, ultimately declined the payment and sent it back, forcing us to call our client and apologize for the inconvenience, and has caused significant delays in the project. I'm very disappointed and would warn anyone before using their service. Proceed with caution!!

My account closed due to unknown reason. I was approved to accept payments. I took payment a from my customer, it was processing for a long time. After 3 days I am got an email from Wepay my account is closed. They have their own terms and service, even that I have was not doing any prohibited business. Stay away from this company.

WePay uses different transaction IDs than the company that actually takes the money, but the difference only matters sometimes. When there's confusion, email is the only way to go as they do not have phone support (and for me to want to use phone support it must be bad).

WePay it’s a very poor service, if you want headaches please go ahead and hire them, enough trying to run a business and in top of that this company comes along and instead of helping you they just treat you like is your fault for every mistake they made . Non professional Very expensive fees Problem solving 👎 hire them if you want more problems .

Been waiting days for help after submitting multiple requests. WePay is holding my money and won’t release.
