Lucky to get a one star. On hold being transferred between supervisors (or so they say) for 35 mins and then cuts me off. Can’t see new payment method on website after 2 weeks. They keep saying it takes some time. Billed an old card that has been closed. On phone with them last week…they triple billed me and then today the assistant took over 20 mins to explain something I told her I can see plainly on their website. These people should not be allowed to speak with the public, let alone older Americans. This company is a travesty to everything American, including Medicare!

This company needs to be shut down. Period. A little retirement time at the expense of the government might be appropriate for some of their upper level management people too.

I’d give them zero ratings - negative if possible. My 93 year old father was in 3 different eye surgeries during the enrollment period and there is a penalty fee FOR LIFE because he missed the enrollment date. They could not understand this after 1.5 hours on the phone. I was escalated to a supervisor who kept referring to “part of the process” and kept repeating the terms of the penalty. All I wanted was to dispute the penalty because of the medical problems during that time of enrollment. This company needs political activism to stop. The healthcare system is broken and WellCare is laughing all the way to the bank. Burn in hell.

Zero stars if that were possible. I don’t know how a company can consistently be so bad, I’m just astounded at the utter incompetence and lack of concern for their customers health. It’s August 2026 and I’ve had to submit my 2nd grievance this year to Medicare regarding WellCare. They’ve consistently failed to get my biologic medication approved and delivered to the point where I’ve missed a number of doses, which is highly detrimental, even dangerous to my health. Can’t wait for open enrollment to dump this joke of a “prescription plan”

I had to spend nearly three hours on the phone with the India based WellCare service center trying to get my very simple account fixed. They were denying prescription claims because they claim I have other insurance, which I don’t since I retired. They also cannot fix an IT glitch that won’t allow me to set up an online account. It is the worst customer experience I have experienced and I would not recommend this company to anyone.

When I picked up a new prescription at my local pharmacy, the price using my WellCare Medicare part D plan was $493 for a 30 day supply. I asked the pharmacy to price it without insurance. It was $37 for same exact medication and quantity. Makes no sense. I wonder why WellCare is allowed to continue these pricing schemes / scams. I pay a monthly premium for the privilege of being scammed / cheated by WellCare.

Most incompetent company with whom I have ever dealt. You have to go through HELL AND HIGH WATER to speak with someone who has English as their first language. They read from prepared documents and cannot answer questions of any kind - just keep reciting the same statements over and over and over. WORST COMPANY EVER, and their “coverage” is absolute crap.
